Sunday is the Lord's day, and so I decided to pull back my disgusting degeneracy for a little while, long enough to draw a SFW fan-art of Aranessa Saltspite. I use to draw lots of pirates back in the day. I think they appeal to me for the same reasons barbarians do. I'm an immature male with delusional immoral power-fantasies in which I can just forcefully take all the things (people) I want without having to navigate the impossibly complex reality of individuality, consent, and personhood.

I actually drew a series similar to this a couple years ago for a client who actually paid me for SFW stuff, believe it not.

Araness Salspite is a fun character. She's a pirate-lord from the Warhammer universe, and although in the video-game she's allied with the Vampire Coast, in the lore she's very anti-vampire. Her story is cool. Abandoned by her Norscan tribe as a baby becuse of her mutant fish-legs, she survived in the ocean because she was adopted by a clique of sea-nymphs. She lived as a mermaid for many years, but when the urge came to live among men, she amputated her on legs, cauterized the wounds, and then spent a weak treating the resulting infection with salt-water. Once she was strong enough to walk she made her own peg-legs and she went to the pirate-republic of Sartosa (Britain was basically a pirate-republic), promptly becoming the captain of her own ship.
