DBDB 38 (Patreon)

Thanks to the stiumuls money, and the fact that my Patreon has stayed consistent--both throughout the last few months and several years--I'm going to say that the $1200 is essentially the payment I need for twelve consecutive pages, or so. I've got three lingering commissions, one of which is a story, but other than that, I think I'm pretty much zeroed on this. No promises about finishing the whole comic, since I may want to explore some of its tangents (my thoughts while actually playing the game), or I could get hit by a bus, or find a greater source of happiness in my life than drawing cartoon porn (like if I got a hot girlfriend, and she told me stop doing this, I'm at the point in my life where I'd simp and do it, I just would, no apologies, I'd drop this overnight), but I'm going to do the next ten pages and see where I am with the spirit. I'm still not sure about how much of my original head-canon I'm gonna cut though. This is REALLY indulgent fan-fiction. It's basically my Sonic-chu, and that makes me its Chris-Chan. That's not an insult though, it's just a closer point of reference than anything else I can think of. Cleopatra lived closer in time to the invention of the smart-phone than she did to the construction of the very pyramids she lived under. Everything is great or small in relative terms.  

I feel very relieved and lucky that I get to do this weird thing as my income. I use to draw dirty pictures of Peter Pan and Xena the Warrior Princess on computer-paper with an automatic-pencil, and then jack off imaging them doing it--this was before the internet-- now I'm doing more or less the same thing, but with a  Palantír, and I'm making a sustainable living while doing it, during a plague, so thank you everyone. I'm definitely living my R. Crumb fantasy still.
