Got some Duke sketch requests that relate to things I've wanted to draw, Warhammer, and Smite. I've never played Smite (and I never, ever, ever will, because it's old, it's multiplayer, and I haven't bought a new game in for-fucking-ever), but I really like the idea. Gods of various mythologies fighting? And all the the girls are sexy? Holy shit, I wish that idea went into a product I was more interested in, because that is my jam.

I'm thinking of making my next Poll related to Smite. Maybe I'll have the first poll be about you guys voting for the most popular mythological factions (Greek, Celtic, Chinese), and then we'd vote on specific gods from there. Could be fun for sex-fights.

Smite seems like fun game if it wasn’t an mmo but at least it is free so I might give it a shot just to see the mythology in the games until the next shin megami tensei game come and I finally try one for real

I mean, if you're never going to play Smite why not just do your own take on the Sexy Goddess Fights theme and use your own designs for the Goddesses?

Restrictions breed creativity. Freedoms breeds mediocrity. If I end up just drawing my own, then it kinda defeats the fun of doing the poll, since I'd end up formulating something after the results came in. Using established characters, it's like reaching into a toy bin and forcing myself to play with whatever I get. That's more fun.

Smite is the type of game i wouldnt wish to invest considering its always online. The day the online servers shut down all that time and money becomes a waste of a memory.

I'm actually okay with that. I've played WOW and I've playing Skyrim, and while I value the time I spent playing Skyrim much, much, much more than the time I spent playing WOW, I don't worry about either being 'lost' since I do tend to entirely erase games from my computer when I'm done with them. I remember uninstalling Skyrim. Big Day. I just dislike multiplayer games because they tend to skimp on what I consider actual content, which is a story-driven adventure.

Interesting points, currently I dislike Wow lore, but let be fair Marky, only a few of us give a damn about story, a game will live or die based on gameplay, if the game is awesome it will thrive, good lore or not.
