This has been sitting in my drafts for a while - haven't been sure whether to post it at all, since the tone is a bit more negative than foxes usually.

Thank you for posting! I think it's nice to see some of the more "negative" things sometimes too, yanno? I mean, obviously we all love "Foxes in Love" for the funny and sweet fluffiness, and that's why we're here, but knowing that said foxes also represent two real people doing their everyday real things, well... I think it's good to be reminded that life doesn't always fit neatly into a few panels of a comic strip. Or that when it does, there may not always be a perfect "punchline" or it may not be cute or funny, simply because not everything in life is. Granted, you of course don't want to just completely upend your comic and make it into something else entirely (I mean, unless you DO, in which case, by all means), so you don't have to put a TON of negative stuff in them. I just mean that it's nice seeing some of it now and again, yanno? Like, it makes your foxes feel (even more) real and multidimensional. The beauty of this comic is that we rarely get elaborate backstories and such — usually just little snippets of a relationship (that is definitely #relationshipgoals) and can peek in on the fun and little shenanigans of a couple who, clearly, so many others can relate to with in their own lives and relationships. In short, I will support you and your endeavors no matter what you post! 🧡

🤔 I see it as just being honest & realistic. Everything doesn't have to be either/or. Doesn't have to be labeled. It just is. And as always, thank you for sharing your life & relationship with us 🎉😍💜

Not every slice of life is perfectly happy, just like how not every slice of cake gets the icing ratio correct.
