Confession: Neither of us actually remember the exact time and date of our first date. After our first year together, we checked the date from the old records of our conversation history on the app we met on, but we both neglected to write it down anywhere. Around the second or third year, we had both completely forgotten - we remembered it was 2018, and somewhere in the autumn. There was a week in early september when we both had a vague feeling like we were supposed to do something on the approaching wednesday, but neither of us could recall what we were supposed to do. Both of our calendars were empty, too, so we decided that this must be our anniversary date.

And we have been forgetting it every single year since!

A fine tradition to uphold, the annual forgetting.

I routinely have to remind my parents of their wedding anniversary. It's only been 47 years. :-)
