Hey all! I'm working on videos and I'll have some available for you in the next few days. Also, in about 9 hours from now, I'll be having a livestream with Abubaker Siddik, the Muslim guy I made a bunch of videos about (cross your fingers that he actually shows up - he's a little nervous, I think.)

But for next month, I'd love some input: What sort of content would you, my patrons, like to see? Topics, specific videos to respond to, whatever you're into. I can always figure out stuff to do, but it's nice to know what you're really into so I have some guidance from my employers. Just leave a comment if you have a preference, and if you see one you agree with, like it or whatever it's called when you do that here.

Abubaker stream will be here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmEUdX-JP_k

I would like to see more pseudoscience debunks. Maybe take on some of the woo around yoga or other spiritual exercise.

I think it would be fun to see you debunk some new age woo woo.

Maybe some conspiracy theory crap?

One of the things that gets under my skin is when people talk about how acupuncture is "proven" and "ancient", when it's actually neither. All of the studies showed that it's no better than placebo and there is no consistency between acupuncturists about where the needles go. The other is the American version of Yoga and how it has nothing to do with India. 😂

I'm going to make it a point to avoid the cop-out answer of "I enjoy everything you do." As a content creator myself, I find that particular answer a little frustrating, even though I appreciate the spirit in which it's given. When I think about the episodes of yours I enjoy the most, they tend to fall into two categories for me. The first are the throwaway videos that are just too silly for legitimate debunks (Robert Lyte, Padre, RedneckTreeGoddess, etc.). those are fun because the subject matter is generally so off-the-wall and silly that half the work is done for you. Just a lot of silliness that is just fun to enjoy... from a safe distance. XD The other category is kind of in the opposite direction. I'm particularly fond of your more thorough debunks. Ones where it's clear that you put a ton of time and effort into researching. Comprehensive ones like the second Armoured Skeptic one, a couple of the Islam ones, Justin Trudeau's speech... which came out in an undisclosed year... and lest we not forget the mainstays of "Hello, I'm a Scientist," "Science in the 12th Century," and "Hello My Name is Kent Hovind." Ultimately, I genuinely DO feel it best that you pick something you feel passionate about and do some stuff about that. And if you can't decide on something, kill some time with some more silly stuff just to have a bit more fun. On a purely selfish note, I admit I would like to see you cover a bit more of Armoured Skeptic's material since his quality of research has taken an unbelievable nosedive over the past couple of years, but I can completely understand if you don't want to reopen that can of worms. I also wouldn't mind more creationist comic debunks on the silly end of the spectrum. I friggin' LOVED those. Anyway, those are my two cents. Hope they were a help.

What do you think about taking on health/fitness woo woo? It is wierd fun and interesting but also very relevant and consequential. That stuff is rampant these days but there arent alot of people taking it on which I worry about because that crap can get dangerous.

I always like some Flat Earth stuff, but that may be a bit overdone. Some New-Age woo stuff would be cool. Spirit Science definitely needs more people ridiculing it.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone - I'm seeing them, just not putting a like on them because that'll mess with the numbers

A video pro/anti Veganism would certainly draw a crowd. Seek to do an interview/colab with Stefan Molyneux (freedomainradio)?

As long as you continue with update videos, I'd like to see a skit here and there. Perhaps keep them in separate episodes from debunks OR do more skits with isethoriginal on her channel. Her work already does reference to the process of production. A "Come over and help me choose a tie for my debunk of Depak Chopra; I want to make a good first impression" lead-in to give her an excuse to have you on her channel is what I'm imagining.

Regarding the updates - the idea that some people think of you only as your persona just makes no sense to me. I mean, we're human fucking beings. How can we not SEE each other as such? Updates are important for other reasons, but the idea that they are necessary to humanize you to some viewers makes me that sad kind of angry.

I think you should take on the Gaia group!! There are a few free videos available on YouTube so you wont have to buy a subscription and they are crazy enough to make very enjoyable
