not sure if that was really the issue, 2$ shouldn't be a lot of money for someone who decides to support youtubers in the first place ...

Still worth pointing it out i guess in case even a few people have left for that reason. Also $2 per video over a month combined with other donations to other youtubers can add up to be a fair bit for some people so i guess if they didnt realise then saw they owed more than they thought they may leave rather than honor the pledge. Just a thought.

Yea the per video thing can be a big issue since some creators do it that way and some are per month. If your new to using the service you can easily misinterpret the setting and end up paying alot more then you expected.

I can't edit a limit on the number of times I can contribute. The box doesn't work.

Make sure you check the box in front of Optional: set month max

I tried putting a check on set monthly max, the box comes up but it looks like there's the last 1/3rd of a 9 in the box and nothing will text in it. Any help?

I set my monthly max from the start, but I'd honestly rather see it just do a monthly because its lazier on my side (I'm lazy, what can I say). And it also tends to get past people who overlook the monthly max thing or get confused by it.

I have no idea. Maybe Patreon is having a buggy moment - or possibly you could try another web browser?

I didn't know i could cap it! I'm happy to support the work (yay, you!) but I'm also on a limited budget. Thanks for the info!

Sounds like a browser issue. I would try another. Could be your fonts are set to large.

Good thing I mentioned it then. I've tried to be clear about it in the description, etc. but I've added it to the thank you message now as well, so hopefully others can do the same.
