PSA: Patreon Subscription Mode Change (Patreon)

Hello, this isn't likely as important as this title makes it sound and will not really affect current patrons. But Patreon (finally) allows a simpler subscription style whereby the date you sign up is not only when you are first charged, but also the date you will be charged each month. 

This shouldn't change anything for current patrons, if you signed up before this change your charge date should remain the 1st of the month. If you leave and come back for whatever reason though, I believe it will use the new system and your charge date will become whatever date you sign up.

Previously, swapping to charge-up-front (in order to protect the various resources and access I grant instead of relying entirely on an honesty system) caused new subscribers to potentially get "double charged" where they signed up at the end of a month, and then got quickly charged again on the 1st of the next month.

That kinda sucked, and was a big reason I didn't want to move to charge-up-front for a long time. Sorry to anyone here who that affected, but I thought I'd let you all know that this thankfully shouldn't happen in future, and so that you can let me know if anything unexpected *does* happen with any current pledges.
