Hello everyone! Today two new episodes of the ARPG and also a bonus video about PokeyPoke will be made available to $5+ supporters, and drip fed to YouTube over the next few Fridays. I've been working hard lately!

But, I am here to announce that over the next few months there will be a slow down in my video production.

You might recall that I have stated on many occasions my plans this year to work on the ARPG until it is finished, then move on to PokeyPoke. That I took on too much work in years past and it frustrated my desire to get the things I cared about finished. So I committed to doing these two things alone.

Life decided to call my bluff. I've been very good up until this point at turning down other opportunities that been presented to me (some of which might have been highly gainful for me) in favor of sticking to my plan. But recently I was approached about a project I simply could not find it in myself to say no to. A project that would take up probably most of my next three months.

I have signed an NDA and cannot discuss what it is at this time, even with you guys, which is agonizing. But I hope you can appreciate that this wasn't a decision made lightly. The thought of slowing down the ARPG series and thereby putting PokeyPoke on even *further* hold is gut wrenching to me after the great year we have had so far. But this is the kind of opportunity for me that I could not forgive myself for not trying, even if it turned out to be a bad idea in the long run.

I have worked very hard to bring some episodes to you a bit earlier than usual, and will be pushing to make episodes keep coming out albeit at a slower pace. But I can't make a promise or an estimate as to what that pace might be. All I know this this will only last about three months. I would perfectly understand those of you who might decide to take a three month hiatus from supporting me on Patreon. If you reasonably came here to fund full-time tutorial work and I'm not doing it, it is reasonable for you to not continue to fund it. I very much understand.

I had considered doing as I did when I went to work at YoYo, and shutting down my Patreon for three months. But I figured instead that I will still try to make videos in this period and leave that decision to all of you instead.

This is a terrifying thing to have agreed to, my livelihood has relied on this platform we have built together over the last half a decade. So while I can't tell you why I have decided to take this risk and take a few months away from my full time work here, I hope it is clear that I have a Good Reason.

Thanks everybody for your support, truly and sincerely.

As a new patron joining during this slow down period, I am happy to continue supporting you during this period. I have been benefiting from your videos long before I decided to become a patron. Best of luck on your new endeavor and I hope it turns out well for you!
