Fancy chickens.

Commentary

George's chicken wins because it's the only one with a ribbon.

A while ago, I jokingly panicked over having to eventually draw a fancy chicken. Little did past me know, however, that I'd have to draw FOUR fancy chickens!

And yes, George's chicken counts as fancy.

His chicken has a ribbon.

We've been over this.

You have only yourself to blame. On the other hand, you had the privilege of drawing four fancy chickens!

Larry saw a photo of a silkie once.

Silkieeeee

Matt R

All the chickens

KC

Silkie! It's so floofy!

AstroChaos

Not ONE but FOUR super fancy chickens? That's pretty clucked up, honestly.

Stephen Gilberg

Did Jake Blues show up to order four chickens?

Foradain

Or lives in or adjacent to a rural/chicken friendly zoned area. Maybe bicycled through once? Got invited to a D&D game where there were such dinosaurs-in-disguise in the back yard? ^_^

KC

Man, I was not eggs-pecting the chicken pun

Rich and Nanase's chickens are looking a little more roosterish. Because of the ZW chromosomes running backwards from the XY chromosome system, roosters all get to be pretty bois with giant glorious plumage in technicolor, while the hens tend to have simple plumage in monochrome.

You should post this comic completely out of context on the main site tbh

I've been to a number of county fairs in my life and do not recall having seen a silky until somebody linked a picture of one in the commentary of... was it the last EGSNP? Days blur together sometimes... Admittedly, I was probably under 4 feet tall at the time, and I'm now significantly over 4 feet tall.
