Can you do the cool thing?

Commentary

I'm not a volleyball expert, but I'm pretty sure this all checks out.

I actually went back and edited the previous page a bit to make Spikey-haired girl's eyes closer to how I want them. I was really tired when I made that comic, and I don't think it was my A-game.

I was feeling better drawing this comic, and Grace in panel two is evidence of that. I like when Grace winds up pointing in separate directions with crossed arms.

You have three hits in volleyball and idealy one person would receave get it in the air the second person would set and the third person would spike it so if the setter wants to get the ball into positon so the spiker can hit it at their higest point of the jump, since your opponents are going to jump to block it if you hit it at the peak you have better odds of getting it over them but also inside the feild. All this to say if the setter knows you can jump really high they just set the ball higher for you which would be a huge advantage even if you don't hit it crazy hard on the way back down.

Just wanting to see someone spike the ball really hard is also a very vollyball thing though.

Tedd has competition! (Or maybe its Ellen) this is fantastic!

She just wants to see someone make glass with a volleyball. As do we all.

I think after the game would be better than before, just in case the ball's no longer usable.

The "out of bounds" or "hit anyone in the face" situations should only be an issue if her aim is that bad.

Some Ed

The harder you hit, the worse your aim. That's not just a problem that some volleyball players have, it's fundamental to sports where the athletes propelling the ball have a free range of movement and it's their muscles that both guide and power the ball.
