EDIT - Typo correction ("haven't" in panel one was originally written as "having").

Commentary

An episode of Susan and Elliot's show has always been an option for EGSNP, but figuring out what the heck to do with it was tricky. This was mostly because it's a movie review show.

Either they'd review an actual movie, which would be filled with spoilers, or a made-up movie that they would have to over-explain for anything to work.

Susan having something tangentially related to movies that she wants to talk about, however? That works, so here we are. Not only is this effectively an episode of their show, but this is after they've gotten used to doing this, so we get to see what they're like while "on" for the camera. Both of them are a bit different than when the camera's off, which I think is fun, at least.

"They knew what they were clicking on." So true...

I hope Susan and Elliot rekindle their romantic feelings for each other, so they can have a polyamorous relationship with Ashley.

Honestly, with how web shows can be named nowadays... Name Pending could be the official name for this and it'd work, and i'd love it.

Randall Wald

Author Brandon Sanderson started a podcast a couple of months back with the tentative to-be-replaced title of "Intentionally Blank." You can probably guess what the current, official name of the podcast is.

Gotta appreciate a good pun

There appears to be a typo in panel one. Presumably Susan should be saying "we still haven't settled", not "we still having settled".

Paul Rendell

Unfortunately, without some form of mental transformation, it will be quite some time before Susan is willing to even approach the idea. Sarah jumping into bed (metaphorically... or is it?) with Tedd and Grace is much more likely to occur.

Andrea Andrew

Yeah, that’s unfortunate. I like Ashley now, but Elliot almost ended up with Susan before she was introduced. Here’s hoping for someday. On the other hand, based on their interactions, maybe Jay would be better for Susan than Elliot and Ashley.

Yeah, I had to re-read that sentence a couple of times before concluding it was either a typo or some weird English idiom I don't know about. I still having settlied on which one it is, though.

Is it just me, or does "on-camera" Elliot sound a lot like Ellen?
