As someone who fell in love with this anime within the last two years I always get so sad when comment sections tell creators not to react to it. Sometimes it feels like the people saying that haven't actually watched it? They say it's a kids anime, but it tackles so many disturbing themes, it has adult humor, and it uses layered storytelling that makes thinking about the world they are in critically a necessity. It gets really deep. It gets dark. I think people have come to expect death at least once a season for them to understand the stakes of things but that's just sad to me. People say the Fandom is toxic. I'm sure they are, I haven't come across it but I can't argue just because I haven't seen it. But what does that have to do with the quality of the anime? All of that is to say, I'm so happy to find your channel and find you reacting to this. I hope you stick around because it's a really worthwhile show that will get you right in the heart ❤️

finally someone with a brain and not another hivemind, i agree with you 100%, giving this show a rewatch right now and man i missed so much on my first watch that im glad im rewatching this, the fandom IS toxic but that doesn't mean the WHOLE fandom is toxic as people try to make it, im glad nick is loving this anime and the later seasons are even better man, this journey is gonna be so worth it

I think people who rip on mha for "tropes" forget that this is what quintessential shonen is all about; some of the newer series that became so popular in the west aren't really shonen at all, or are very large outliers 😭 mha is has a great story and is popular for a reason!! (Also don't pay attention to the "Mr. Thirteen"; the sub vid you watched didn't translate that quite right, they use they/them for Thirteen in the official sub!
