Gintama is my favorite anime. It's very much worth watching and I know Nick would love it. It's great for short binges of a few episodes at a time as well. I think the storytelling might surprise him in a lot of ways too so I'm looking forward to the eventual watch through. I will be there for all of it and probably be toxic to people complaining in the chat

Gintama is definitely the kinda show to keep on the side, it seems like basically everyone who watches it starts off watching it bit by bit, and then slowly starts watching more

Spending one year on the first 50 episodes is a little long tho, two is probably best for whenever there’s two parter episodes

Tbh I think you should probably wait with watching until you’ve finished at least one of the big three, the comedy is so good that you can laugh without understanding the jokes but it does improve the experience to have more knowledge on shounen series

Guys, I think I solved "prewatched" accusations. Bro made 3 Gintama videos and all 3 times he had the "OMG IS THAT ZORO'S VOICE???" moment. Nick has Alzheimer and just forgets that he had already watched things he's reacting to.
