I forgot how fast paced this arc actually was but i love it so much, its so unique to get a whole arc entirely with the villians as the protagonists with no heroes around. It sort of is a training arc yeah. So hyped for the season finale, its a masterpiece

Nana Shimura she is the predecessor of All Might, which you know and the grandmother to Tenko Shimura (Shigaraki), same last name, we learnt this information in season three, it was mentioned briefly by One for All just before he fought All Might.

You were missing a LOT of dialogue so basically quirks in its name is essentially an extension of one's self and one's quirk influences who they are. Endeavor is ferocious because of his flames Bakugou is explosive because of his explosions And blood is like crack to toga because she needs blood to use her quirk so essentially she was born a blood fiend This arc explores the darkside of superhuman society and shows how unfair superhuman society is. What can one do who was born with an obsession with blood? Naturally of course give her the help she needs but instead she was neglected by her parents and everyone just told her to be normal/put on a mask until she completely broke. They didn't want to understand or even attempt to truly help Toga because in their eyes she was a demon. In society It is easy to ignore a problem than trying to help until that problem becomes big and joins a crazy villain group where now Toga feels as she's "normal" and wants to destroy society

You GOTTA start paying attention Nick man jesus christ. The constant jokes, talking, looking away be having you missing so much dialogue and context and messages within a very important arc like this one. It's ok to focus in on dialogue even if the anime isn't attack on titan

I pray for your father in law Nick 💖, as for your reaction, I know you may not be the best mentally but you tend to overlook a lot of key moments and dialogue. Especially with an arc this important that sets the theme for the rest of the show. Also side note as a huge Mr. Compress fan I was a little hurt you don’t care for him but I get it he doesn’t get nearly amount of attention than the other league members lol.

It can be frustrating when you wanna relive/experience an exciting episode or scene with a reactor just for them to have no idea whats going on or have them not fully grasp the context of the situation. I don’t know if it’s the abuse of caffeine, a lack of interest in dialogue/worldbuilding, or difficulty balancing providing a commentary with focus. Maybe it’s all three. But I understand where he’s coming from. Most would gladly take the sacrifice of less banter from Nick if it meant came with better story comprehension/theories. This comes from a place of endearment as well. It’s weird because comments like mine in this community as ‘hate’ when its so clearly not meant to be spiteful. I feel like my complaints are excusable if you’re a casual anime viewer/reactor. But when you do this as a full career….? Is it too much to ask for a bit more effort to absorb and comprehend stories.? I mean I’ve had release seasons where I’m keeping up with a series for everyday of the week. It’s possible if you’re interested and WANT TO BE interested in what you’re watching. His reactions to fire force, Bluelock, and so far Dr. Stone have been pretty good. Others though it’s clear he’s not as invested.

In the Kamino Ward fight, were All might lost his powers, One For All told him, and brought real despair to all might. I hope you'll remember! Also prayers for your Dad in law, live, and for you. First of all you already know that all might's master is shigaraki's grandma. It was revealed in afo vs all might and you even talked about it. Secondly no they did not kenjaku twice. He stabbed himself in confusion after fighting with his copies which you also already know

The arc is way better in the manga. A lot of good content skipped, plus medicore animation ( For the most part) but anime version isn't terrible just decent I guess. Like a 6.5 imo
