It is what it is, I think it being slow is fine :) It's chill.. but hopefully them dedicating this much time to minimal character development doesn't make it so the NEXT season is 3 years ahead or something x) long wait sucks

I actually loved this episode because of the Tengen content. And the Tengen vs Tanjiro scene was fire. I dont understand the hate of this season so far like tf do people expect from a training arc

Nick its chill rn its like u said in a previce reaction its for convo n stuff its for charcter devoplement n growth as well as intreactions between characters other then our main 4 i believe we get lore aswell its been a while since i read the manga but if it does have lore in it it will answer alot of questions youve been asking for a long time n idk if u see this or not but i wanna point out that in the ending song we see the man with long hair with the guy who looks like tanjiro(his ancester) if u look at the house they r at then it cuts to tanjiro,nezuko,n their dad at their house its the same house n when muzan is walkin n steps on blood we see a house in the snowy forestthatsalso tanjiros house so its indicating that muzan went there personially instead of a random demon attacking n nezukos blood getting in her stream like how giyu mentioned in the first episode its not spoilers its just noticing those lil details

Bro episodes like this are necessary, I for one enjoy the training and lowkey conversation, knowing what’s ahead. An anime needs to have lulls between the madness and lord knows once Infinity Castle starts, it’s gonna be non stop insanity

No it's not necessary since it's full of fillers. In the manga, it was like 3 pages. We should have seen the trainings with tengen, muichiro, mitsuri, obanai, and sanemi in one episode. There are more things to tell with sanemi, his brother, himejima and ubuyashika in the, at most two upcoming episodes. The anime version is full of fillers. We will probably get one ep per hashira which is not necessary. They just wanna end the season on a big cliffhanger but this arc should have been adapted during last season during 3 or 4 episodes. They extend soooo much this show for profit

To respect the manga which is perfectly rhymed. This arc is necessary but there is no need to fill it with fillers scene. This episode adapts only 3 pages in the manga. This arc should have gotten, at most, 3 or 4 episodes last season. They are extending the show a looot

I love MHA, but be prepared for similar arc in there, the show also loves to take its time...tho I must say for me that hurts a bit less there since I care for more character in MHA and some of them do deserve more screentime....my biggest issue with DS is that if we are having these kinda slow pace episodes I really need to love the characters to be able to push through it, and that is just not the case with most of characters in DS.

Read some comments on reddit about how the infinity castle arc may be hard for ufotable to adapt because the fights are that insane; that is a wild comment seeing that ufotable is the best there is. Even in the first episode where Sanemi and Obani fell into the castle that wasn't in the manga apparently and was an added scene, meaning ufotable is itching to show us that arc. Please let me stay alive until then I beg 🙏

Glad you're being honest! I kind of find this season feels a little slow compared to the others as well. Like a filler season. I expect it is all leading up to the next arc so here's hoping it gets better! I was honestly just happy to see Uzui in this episode 🥰

Honestly, I found the villains more entertaining than the bubblegum kindergarten shenanigans they were doing at the school. I remember watching this weekly and it was bad. Could take Luffy and the crew trolling on the boat any day over that. Just my 2 cents. Last ep of S4 is the best of MHA for me though 🔥 🔥 🔥

Its okay if the episode is not to everyone's liking. I thought it was okay, just a lull in the story and to see characters train and interact. Its fine. I don't think he disliked it because of the lack of action. If I had to think back to earlier episodes, ones that didn't have action in them, like in S1 where they were recovering/training, they put in a lot more comedy to keep you engaged. This episode probably would have been more engaging if it had more goofy, comedic moments. I dunno. Its all good though. To each their own.

What was the hot take, lol. That nothing really happened this episode? I mean, yeah. It's a training arc that's like 9 chapters. It's not an important training arc that will blow your mind and I feel like Nick expects it'll be more. It wont.

Lmao yes Nick, the point of this arc is to train with all of the hashiras (except Shinobu) so we'll see them all. So far, I've been enjoying the arc (maybe I'm biased because Tengen is one of my favorites) but it's nice to have a relaxed season taking into account what awaits afterwards. Also, Tengen is retired so we don't know when he'll be appearing next...it's a treat for us Tengen fans haha.

That's bc what was in the manga was tanjiro showing up, doing a training montage in a single panel, having tea in another, then next page, leaves. It wasn't even a actual training session in the manga
