It's actually not hard to predict how things would play out in shows. Y'all don't give Nicholas enough credit as much as he misses information, he tends to catch on to small details, that goes unnoticed by many, that can tell you a lot, must be the ADHD, he really moves a lot, bro can't sit still for a single minute.

What is the most heartbreaking i think, even if we know they will be okay, is seeing Luffy's feeling of utter powerlessness after becoming so strong to protect his friends. He cant do anything to save them and does not know what Kuma is doing to them.

Out of all manga I have read One Piece is unmatched when it comes to world-building, interconnecting sub plots, character development, LORE, the main thing I think that weakens it is the anime itself. Because it’s not seasona so the animation sucks and is terribly long and diluted with extra reactions and running sequences and slow motion movements, and also the anime censors the much of the darker scenes so it just does not do the manga justice. That’s why I’m excited for the upcoming Wit Studio adaptation of One Piece. Wit studio does exceptionally well at adapting stories. For me AOT’s manga was very an average experience, it didn’t move me like one piece, the plot and lore was not on the same league. But the anime brought it to life and made it EPIC. I think that’s mainly where the hype comes from. If Toei animation adapted AOT, it would not have the same impact.

there are limitations because this is a weekly anime, AOT is not, nor is my hero, or most other animes. consistency with animations doesn't exist for weekly animes, take naruto, or black clover for example, great animes with really really bad moments
