As Natti was walking out of school he turned into the foyer and there was Ben Stanley and two other guys he didn’t know by name, but he knew that they were friends of Dennis. He was almost to the door when Ben said, “Hey where’s Dennis’s girlfriend?” One of the other guys stepped out in his way and he backed up and when he did he fell back over a leg conveniently placed behind his. Ben stepped up and looked down at him and asked why he couldn’t find his own girlfriend.

Natti stammered that she wasn’t Dennis’s girlfriend and that she was only a friend of his. The crowd of students leaving the school swarmed around him and Natti was kind of worried looking at the faces looking down at him as they passed him when he heard a loud voice from behind him ask, “Hey what’s going on here?” Natti spoke up saying that he was just clumsy and tripped and that his friend Ben was just helping him up. The voice belonged to a chubby teacher that taught English lit. and was responsible for directing the drama class plays. Ben stepped forward and grabbed Natti’s arm as he was picking up his backpack and pulled him up saying how his “friend!” was just a little bit in a hurry and was kind of clumsy and not very coordinated when he got in a hurry. The teacher asked if he was okay just as Natti’s phone went off.

He pulled it out and looked at the screen and then said hello. It was Tara calling but he didn’t want to say her name and she said that she was just a little worried and that she had asked her cousin Jake (Jacob) if he would come and pick him up. She added that he had just called her and that he was waiting down by the north parking lot exit. Natti quickly said thanks, and then the teacher was asking him if he was okay. He looked at the teacher and then said that he was fine and his ride was waiting for him. He turned to walk away and the teacher began to talk to Ben and his two friends.

Natti said to Tara that he just bumped into Ben and he was just walking out of the doors now. Tara asked excitedly if he was talking about Ben Stanley, and Natti told her that he was. He could hear the hoarseness in her voice as she said that she was sure that Dennis was going to try something and added he is such a stupid lumber head. Tara added that Jake was driving a dark green 88 mustang and that he was a freshman at Miami Dade University.

She added that you couldn’t miss his car and as he walked out and started down the steps he saw the car right off. That was his car for sure and that must have been Jake standing there talking to a couple of guys that were looking at his car. She was right that car stood out like a million dollars and as he walked up he thanked Tara and hung up the phone.

“Hi Jake”, he called out as he walked up and Jake looked in his direction and said you must be Nathan? They shook hands and Nathan’s first thought was that Jake didn’t go with the car. He just seemed very tall and you couldn’t miss that Morgan red hair. He told him to hop in and as he opened the door and got in he could see the faces of the two kids that had been looking at the car. Once in the car, Natti thanked Jake and he said no problem and that he had just been hanging out.

He said that he and Tara were very close, and he said that he was happy he could help. Nathan then asked how he liked college and asked what his major was. Jake replied without looking at him that he was a genetic engineering major. Natti was impressed and replied that was really cool. They headed away from school and quite a few people looked at him as they headed out. The car really commanded attention as they headed away with the throaty sound of the exhaust system.

Jake said that Tara said that you lived close by so if you’ll just point me in the right direction that he would be there in no time. Natti gave him directions and Natti thanked him again, and Jake told him it wasn’t a problem. Jake added that he was going to go to the mall anyway, and this was right on the way. Natti asked him what he was going to do at the mall and Jake said as he pulled in front of his house that he was going to practice.

Curiously Natti asked, “Practice what?” Jake said that he and his buddies were on a video game team and that there would be a match in a couple of weeks. Natti had to know now and as he was getting ready to get out of the car he asked Jake what team he was on to which Jake replied, “The Sparks”, ever hear of us? Natti exclaimed, “Wow you’re on the Sparks? Well of course I have. I saw you play on TV a couple of months ago.” Jake told him that he hadn’t been on the team at that time but had just joined. Natti thanked him again and went up to his door and headed into the house.

Once inside he went and grabbed some fruit and crackers that his mom always left for him that he could munch on after school. He went into his room and turned on his monitor and sat down and opened up his stories for that day. The first one had only 1 part and was about a man and his wife. It ended up with his wife divorcing him and marrying his boss. The next one had 3 parts and was about a guy moving to Japan and the Japanese girl that he had dated in college had tricked him into eating something laced with female hormones that turned him into a woman. Really strange stories but the pay was good.

He still had about an hour before his mom was to come home so he went in and took a shower. He used the shampoo, and then the conditioner. It said on the bottle of the conditioner that you should leave in on your hair for 5 to 10 minutes so he turned off the water and wrapped a towel around him. He noticed that the hair on his legs was beginning to grow as he could feel the stubble on them. He grabbed the razor and some shaving crème and began to shave them. He felt his underarms and the hair was growing there as well so he shaved them as well.

He checked his face and he didn’t have any there, but his backside was another problem. Well, he had the razor out so he shaved each cheek in turn and after about 15 minutes he was pretty hairless except for his pubic area. He wondered if he should shave there or not. He decided against it and got back into the shower and rinsed off the conditioner and the remains of the shaving crème. He felt his skin as he was drying off and realized how much he enjoyed feeling his legs, underarms, and the other places that were now void of hair. He heard his phone going off and as he went back into his bedroom he wrapped a towel around him.

He picked up the phone and it was Tara and she was calling him to tell him about their shopping trip tomorrow. “Now I want you to be ready at 8AM sharp as we will pick you up and then my mom will drop us off at the mall.” He asked why he had to be ready so early as it was Saturday and the stores didn’t even open up until 10.

She told him that he would see her when they got there. She asked about Jake picking him up and she told him that Jake was a little bit more than just her cousin but was a really good friend as well. She told him that he had lived with them for a year while his father and mother were abroad so he was kind of like a brother to her. Neither one of them had any other siblings, but they had each other so it all worked out. She told him that he was kind of her big brother. He was just short of 3 months from being 3 years older than her so they were very close.

Then Natti asked about what he should wear tomorrow since they would be shopping for girls' clothes and she told him to wear something comfortable, as they might be there for a while. Then he asked about shaving and if she had to do this all the time. She told him that she only did it about every 4 weeks since she used an at-home hair wax, but on some parts, she would get a professional hair waxing. Then she told him to make sure he used the skin crème since he had shaved. That would help his skin.

After they hung up Natti began to use the skin crème on his legs and arms. As he was doing this his mother arrived home and since his door was open she stuck her head in and asked if he wanted to call out and get a pizza delivered since it was Friday and she didn’t really feel like cooking. Natti told her that would be fun and asked her if she had called the school. She told him that she did and she would tell him all about it over the pizza.

He said that would be fine since he had to get dressed. His mom asked if he wanted the complete meat pizza he always ordered. Natti said that he did, and then his mom pulled her head out and told him that she would see him in the kitchen when he was ready. She walked back to the kitchen wondering just how far Natti was going to take this dressing like a girl.

She wondered if it wasn’t just a little bit more than just dressing as a girl. Was he planning on wearing bras as well, since she noticed that he had the towel wrapped around him as a woman would covering up her breasts since he really didn’t have any?

She called for the pizza and then went into her room and changed her clothes opting for a pair of baggy slacks and a pullover top, and slipped on a pair of slippers. Going back into the kitchen she poured herself a glass of rose wine and looked to see what they had to go with the pizza. She found the jar of artichoke hearts in the fridge and emptied them into a bowl and put in some Italian dressing and tossed in the last of the croutons, tossed them around.

Pulling out a glass baking dish she loaded that up and popped them into the oven after spreading them out. She didn’t want to make them hot, but just take the chill off and the dressing would flavor the croutons and soften them a little. She could have put it into the microwave but that would have made the croutons chewy and they needed to be crispy. Just as she was turning around Natti walked in wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and a pair of red Keds with no socks.

“How did your 2 exams go today, what subjects were they again? Natti replied that he had his geography and biology finals and he was done. His mom asked how he thought he had done and he told her that he did really well on the geography final and in fact, he was the first one to finish. The biology exam was a little harder, but he was pretty sure that he also did well on that test. There were just a couple of questions he had to really work out in his head. You know most of those terms I had never heard before I started this class.

His mom just smiled and said, “I’m sure that you did well, you always do.” Just then the doorbell rang and she asked him to go and get the pizza. She was just opening the oven as she told him that she had paid for it and had already given the driver their tip. She opened the oven and was just finishing stirring the anti-pasta when he came back with the two boxes.

As Natti walked in he said that they were still hot, and she told him to set them down on the counter and grab three of the big plates out of the cupboard. They loaded their plates with the pizza and then she grabbed her mitt and pulled the appetizer out of the oven. She emptied the oven dish onto the last plate. Natti carried it to the bar in the kitchen when his mom said that they should eat in the dining room that night.

Once the plates were out Natti went back and grabbed a coke out of the fridge and his mother called from the table to grab that bottle of wine that was open on the counter. Once they were both seated Natti asked, well what did the school say when you called?

She took a sip from her wine glass and swallowed before answering. They said that It wouldn’t a problem, but if you wanted to wear girl's clothing next year, “They called it an identity as a female then you would have to continue to identify all year. Because if you changed back then to get a new student ID card it would cost $35.00. Natti jerked his head up and anxiously asked, well what about Monday? She smiled and added, that the lady I talked to had already talked to the assistant principal and they said that there wouldn’t be a problem with that as it was the end of the semester.

His smile was contagious and she asked so are you and your friend Tara really going to dress alike for each day of the week? Natti replied that was the plan as he took another bite of his pizza. Then she added that she had talked to her friend Sylvia, the one that had all her daughter's clothes that she wanted to give away and I thought we could go over there on Sunday, and you could look through them and see if there was anything that you wanted.

She said it would be fine with her, and then she added that she told me that her daughter hardly wore any of them because she didn’t like to wear dresses. She said some are still in the bags from the store where she bought them. Natti said hey that’s really super. I can’t understand why she wouldn’t like to wear them. When I tried them on at the store it all just felt so right. You know mom I think I actually wanted to wear women’s clothes my whole life, but just didn’t want to admit it, but once I tried that skirt on at the store that was all that it took. It was a real dam buster for me.

They ate for a few more minutes in silence and his mother stopped eating and took a drink of her wine and set down the glass asked Natti, “When I was talking to the lady at your school she told me that I was the 7th person that had called in to ask about their sons wearing women’s clothes. Do you know anyone else that was planning on doing that?

Natti looked at her saying he hadn’t heard anything from any of his friends about any of them wanting to wear women’s clothes. His mom thought for a moment and then said that it was cross-dressing so some might not have said anything being apprehensive of the school's policy. Natti replied that he thought she might be correct, I mean you don’t know how the other person was raised, and how someone else will approach a kind of lifestyle change. He thought about telling her about him meeting Jake, but then he might have to tell her why he brought him home, and he didn’t want to lie to her or give her a reason to worry.

She then asked him if he and Tara were still planning to go shopping tomorrow, he said that they were and she said that she had a surprise for me. She said that she would pick me up at 8 in the morning tomorrow and I think she plans for us to be shopping for a long time as she told me to wear some comfortable clothes. He then added that he was really very excited at the prospect of finding clothes that would look good on both of them.

This talk of him shopping was exciting him and he really didn’t realize why but didn’t consider that he was excited. His mother was just setting down her wine glass and she stood up saying that she would be right back. Natti was finished so he grabbed his plate and the plate that had the anti-pasta in it and took it into the kitchen. He came back and sat down just as his mother walked into the room. I picked this up on the way home, and Natti could see that she was holding something small in her hand. She continued I want you to use this and just use it for clothes.

She held out a gift card saying there are $500.00 dollars on there and I know that you’re going to need a lot of items that you may not have thought of purchasing such as underwear. You won’t be able to wear your briefs with a skirt, and you don’t have to wear a bra with some dresses, but you may with others. I suggest that you buy some anyway and if you do, I will buy you some realistic forms online. Ask Tara if you need some help in that area, but I wouldn’t get any bigger than a B cup. It just wouldn’t look right.

Natti stood up and hugged her thanking her for the card. When he stepped back from her he looked at her and thanked her for the card again and told her how happy he was that she was his mother. He offered to help her in the kitchen, and his mother said that because of their not cooking there was very little that needed to be done. So he said that he was going to go call Tara right now and tell her about the card.

His mother cleared off the rest of the dishes which amounted to her plate and wine glass. She stood at the sink using a spray and brush to dislodge any stuck-on food before putting the dishes in the washer she thought about the changes in the last few days. At this rate, I’m going to have to get a new diary pretty soon. She decided to turn in since tomorrow was her day to go hunting she would leave at about 6 since it was just less than a 2-hour drive, and there was an auction that would start around 9, and her co-worker Sylvia was going to bring her pick-up just in case they found something which they always did. Her house was on the way and she would leave her SUV at her house and ride over with her. It was good that they were going to be together so that they could talk and they had a lot to talk about.
