Is it just me or did this last week feel particularly long? Thank you everyone for staying another month. You don't know how much it means to me after last month. Have a look at this month's idea box if you've got an idea to post this month, though keep in mind the new rule that each new idea has to have a different species than the one proceeding it. I'll go more into detail there for the folks interested so lets get to last month's vote winner.

This week I sketched out the rest of the keyframes, finally settling on a final design for Tatsumaki's cow form. I have enough keyframes now to start sketching in betweens, but given that we're getting close to the end of the work month, I wanted to ask y'all would you rather see the time left be put towards sketching in between frames, or would you like the next step be to color the keyframes drawn so far?

Additionally this week, I finished up the RWBY page I sketched last week. Given that's been a year since I was asked to make the last one, I hope there's a noticeable improvement between this one and that one.

That's it for what I worked on, but I had somethings I wanted to ask before wrapping this up. I was wondering if any of y'all can remember what the first tf or tg sequence you ever saw was? How long ago was it made, was it what first got you into that sort of thing, and do you think it might make for a good animation some day?

I'm so interested in seeing how this will look... But Wow this just looks like a ton of work.

Um I might lean towards in-between frame sketch work idk if its just me who'd like that or other people might, still these sketches are great and I think inbetween frame sketch stuff should be next. Also I strongly agree on the "No consecutive species rule" and I just want to say you're doing a great job btw as usual 😁👍

I would say the first stuff I've seen of yours was the toonification stuff. Loved those things a lot and why I actually signed up for the patreon to you. Though personally, I'm not a fan of the realistic details/multiboob furry stuff. Though I stay in hopes that we can actually get some actual toonifications again.

"I was wondering if any of y'all can remember what the first tf or tg sequence you ever saw was?" Oh lordy that was probably some of the Pickle Juice (artist name) stuff from the 90s, like his horse TF by genie. I don't think much of that is online anywhere any more. Additionally it was very long ... and in retrospect from all I have seen since it wasn't very good, but it probably did get me hooked. Probably the best earlier stuff I saw that still holds up are all the Mamabliss comics and sequences. There are some out and about for public display for those that were commissions, like so: Example shorter Mamabliss sequence: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25001214/ Example longer Mamabliss comic: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6pigru7ro89of1g/AACVGMZw77xkUHuyZo7VpIfla?dl=0 but most of Mambliss' old work that got me started is behind a paywall (I am subscribed to Mamabliss for said paywal, but obviously I can't link others to things behind it.) As far as "would these make a good animation" I mean, it would be amazing, but animating Mamabliss would be *EXTREMELY* hard I would think: deliciously long, complex, and crazy colored. I guess the one and only relief is that the drawings and coloring are so free-form and variable that precision could be heavily relaxed while animating which might save a little time but I doubt it would make up for all the other extra time and energy required. That said, behind the Mamabliss pay wall there is an old and neat TF sequence done in "extreme slow motion" called "TF Time Bomb" whose series of relatively simple B&W images in the TF sequence in the middle of the comic could probably be used as key frames for an animation without too much effort. If that weren't behind a pay wall I would link you as it would otherwise be worth consideration IMHO. If you want I could also just email Mamabliss and see if they would let me excise the pages directly related to that sequence from the comic to privately send to you. As an extremely long running customer I do email Mamabliss from time to time for commissions, requests, and other things involving their art.

The TF that "awakened" me was Lou Lupus in Final Fantasy Unlimited. Honestly... a "sexier" version of that TF made by you sounds like a dream come true but I don't know to what extent that would be feasible ^^;

You talking about Picklejuice is very nostalgic! Was this on good ol' Transfur.com?

I see the improvement on the RWBY since the last one. good shit <3

Darkwalker

I think the thing that first “awoke” me to tfs was when I saw the original Ben 10 cartoons as a kid. I remember thinking ‘man, this is so cool!’ whenever he went through one of the alien tf sequences. I never could figure out why I was so enraptured with those sequences. Then I saw a few episodes of Totally Spies and Ranma 1/2 and it was all downhill from there.

Honestly, for me, I think my fascination with TF began with the old Batman animated series. Man-Bat comes to mind. There was also the episode where Selina Kyle was transformed into a Cat Person... and later with the "Splicers" episode of "Batman Beyond." Oh, and of course, there was that episode of "Aladdin" where Jasmine turned into a cobra-human hybrid! I remember being entranced by that one... I think I started drawing sexual curiosity from it by the time I discovered "New Cutey Honey." So many memorable transformations and sexy monsters in that (tragically) short-lived series... As for inflation and weight gain, well... there are too many different different scenes from multiple cartoons and animated films to pinpoint where it all started... though I remember being especially aroused by the Striperella episode, "Beauty and the Obese."

Finn the Human

Is it weird to confess that the movie The Witches is what gotten me curious about TFs then later on there was things like Codename Kids Next Door and some of its episodes and then Martin Mystery and (of course) Totally Spies. Then much much later on I stumbled upon the artist Arania's TF art website and Nagasden.

Mankor

I agree, that would be extremely hard, and I definitely don't expect to do something based behind someone else's paywall now.
