V18 is here - you've never played FC24 like this before!!!

This version sees the introduction of a SIGNIFICANT and new positional system that has a big impact on match tempo, tactical depth, pitch balance and overall gameplay!

The result is a much more natural and dynamic pitch, where every phase of play feels different and fresh. This applies for how you play, and also how the CPU plays.

The game is no longer stuck in rigid patterns of movement - and formations are no longer 'tied together'. I can't really stress the importance of this - it's a major advancement in gameplay!

Tempo wise, there is a now a much greater scope for different game paces. Matches don't feel all one pace. You can slow the game down and speed it up.

There is now much more depth to teams positional placement across the pitch. This is based on their role and also the context of the situation.

For example, DMs will no longer sit too high and keep getting caught out in transition - they will now hold their position more effectively and protect the back four better.

Tactical instructions still play a massive role, so you can tweak players behaviours if you want to them to advance or sit more etc - but by default everyone will play their position much better now.

There's also a greater scope now for tactical variety. If you want to sit in with a packaged midfield and play on the counter, you can do so much more effectively now compared to any other version of FC24 you've played prior.

It's a difficult one to explain, but you will find there is both more space to express your creatvity in attack, yet also an overall more balanced field defensively to improve variety and also defensive stability.

V18 also improves on further separating elite players from those around them. This impacts animations, dribbling, play style. composure when being pressed and even pressing itself for example.

There are also general improvements made to dribbling fluidity.

Fouls have been refined so that there are less cards by default - but be sure to set your in game referee strictness to 'very lenient' if you find there are still too many cards.

V18 works best in my opinion when it is paired with the NEW 'Press Variation' and NEW 'Pressing Fatigue System' options also! More info on those below.

Those who have the 'Full Gameplay Package', there are a large range of NEW options to choose from, as well as those that existed before.

Some of the NEW options include:

- 'Pressing Variation' option

- 'Pressing Fatigue System' option (regular, strong and extreme)

- 'Mid Press' option

- Attacking Adjustment 3 (lower overall attacking runs and movement)

- Positioning Alternative - Tight

- 'Less Aggressive Dribbling' option

- 'Difficult Goalkeeper' option

- Large ball size option

- More curve + large ball size option

- V17 Fouls Isolation

- V18 Fouls Isolation

There are descriptions in each folder regarding all of the options.

The 'Press Variation' option for example creates a much bigger difference in how effective teams/players are at pressing based on their stats. If you try and press with a lower rated team for example, don't expect them to be able to implement this as well as teams who are built for it like Liverpool or Arsenal.

The new 'Press Fatigue System' options (regular, strong and extreme) pair really nicely with this option. This creates a much stronger fatigue implementation, meaning you need to think more about your tactical approach - and not just try and press all game, every game without having to think about it.

All of these really add to the overall levels of realism and tactical depth in modded FC24.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since EA's TU11 - Legendary difficulty is now greatly improved - meaning it's a very viable option for those wanting to jump up from World Class. I now recommend EITHER World Class or Legendary for the mod :)

Remember guys - the mod is very stat based. You will see different behaviour, touches, dribbling, pressing, positioning etc based on WHO you are playing with or against. The learning curve is steeper than what you might be used to - stick with it and enjoy!

hello, I have several profiles in the fifa mod manager for the versions and I wanted to know if the live editor took these profiles into account. and I also wanted to know what the order was since I use E-sim mods for the terrain color.
