Proof of Concept - Character Creator. (Patreon)

It's small and doesn't have many options, but I thought it would be nice to show off.

I am still working on the next chapter of Magical Battler.
It is taking longer, since I felt a bit blocked on how to advance a part of it (part of the reason I decided to do this was to distract me from that for a little while).

While talking to some of you over Discord I started to get some ideas about how to create a game where the characters would behave following patterns.
If you played Animal Crossing, I'm sure you have noticed that the characters act depending on their personality, and this is what lets the game have hundreds of villagers (it also means that different characters act the same, since the game has over 300 villagers but just 8 personalities).

While making a whole game around that concept would mean a lot of work in content (so the characters don't repeat behavior a lot), the idea of making a small character creator sounded like a fun project.

So I did just that. I drew some body parts and meshed them all together into this app.

If everyone likes it, I'll come back to it and add more choices, (more hair colors, hair styles, glasses, some clothing) for which having your input would be great.

If the response is positive enough, I will consider starting a VN from this. This would be a secondary project, since I know Magical Battler takes priority.
I think it would be fun to maybe document how I do things, but I'm always afraid that the posts I do about older projects or how I create things might be boring.

I really value your input on all of this.
