How has everyone enjoyed the new content so far? Have you gotten the chance to play it yet? My weekend has been fairly busy personally, so I understand if not everyone has been able to play try the newest version yet.

I'm curious to know people's thoughts on the new content. Did you enjoy the new stories? After playing the prequel, did replaying the earlier chapters feel different?

I'm not actively working on new content as I am waiting on getting some more feedback and bug reports from the player base. That said, I do still need to update the walkthrough. That should be done in time for the public release. Also, I have been brainstorming ideas for the next update.

If any of you recall the timeline I posted many, many, many months ago, I stated that after the Bianca update, I would be returning to the vampire route. Many of you are more invested in the vampire route from what I can gather, so I really hope to meet your expectations! 

For the next update, I was thinking to incorporate some more of my OCs. Particularly, these two:

This barbarian-looking woman is named Eve. She's a brash and a heavy drinker. She travels light, as long as you consider a two handed sword light. She spends much of her time outin the wild and is a proud monster slayer. She's slain plenty of vampires in her time too. Come to think of it, she reminds me a bit of Evelyn. Could she be a distant relative of hers? Even her name is similar.

This is Vicilla. She was trained as a berserker and physically, she is immensely powerful. However she's a meek woman and not particularly intelligent. When in a fight, she often obliterates her foes by complete accident! You could say she is a highly "Min-Maxed" character!

These are illustrations I drew a while back now and I have missed drawing my other OCs. I will be drawing brand new character portraits for them and touch up their designs a bit. I feel like these characters could fit well into the vampire route and I look forward to drawing up some saucy scenes for them. >:)

Found a small Bug yesterday: during Biancas Story, when you wake up in the Librarians Bed, if you go and read her Diary it has Milas Portrait in the Textbox instead of Biancas

The new contract was what I expected. A fun mini-adventure against a neat foe with a decent reward. I am curious about the ghouls in the cave, was there a greater vampire somewhere I missed? Otherwise they felt out of place compared to the overall threat of the contract. I feel conflicted about Bianca's prequel. Overall, it was enjoyable in isolation, but I don't see how it ties into the greater game at this time. It didn't really add anything to the early sections for me (unless they have also been updated). I didn't notice anything that makes me feel more or less connected to characters who died or may have died so long ago in the story, except that Iris seemed to be a terrible vampire hunter. Her getting lost in her cups is on point for her too. If the player decided to kill Bianca this feels even worse as we spend a lot of time on a character we killed and don't really gain anything from it. Even if Bianca is alive this feels like a needless side quest with no reward or information gained. Afterwards I was asking "what was the point?" Bianca just sits in the Library afterwards and knowing more about her doesn't help the player. There are not even interactions with her afterwards. I didn't check if the diary was accessible in the vampire route or not, but if it was I could see it raising questions about the main plot that the player is presumably locked out of. The only new information that I noticed is the white haired woman's blood seemed to wake up Bianca from the usual 'vampire state'. There was also the cave extension but I couldn't figure out why it was there. I am looking forward to the walkthrough to see what I missed. It kinda felt like an extended Game Over scenario that is grafted onto the story. It is good to play in the moment but I don't get anything out of it in the long run. At least that is my first impression. When is the player expected to play this prologue? I jumped in from one of the provided saves so that may be why it feels disjointed disconnected.

the diary section seems to become available at the end of chapter two, when you return to the library for the Research Notes Also, while you're right that Bianca just sits in the Library for now, i expect there are Plans involving her in the future of the Story. If there are not and this is indeed the End of the Road with Bianca going forward you'd be right that the Diary Section is a bit Pointless. While i did enjoy it, it would be a lot of effort to develop two dead-end characters.

Thank you for catching this! I did write proper dialogue for the diary, but I placed it in the wrong priority for the event, which is why you see Mila's face instead of Bianca's! It's now fixed!
