Bumpers Karaoke Night (Patreon)

I've had this drawing planned out since I did the food festival pic towards the end of last year and I'm so glad to have finished this one up! It's part of a series of pics I want to draw of my four ladies from Bumpers hanging out doing a bunch of day to day things.

This pic was really tough to plan out; I had a completely different angle at the beginning but I wanted to be able to include the bit of showing off the lyrics to whatever song Ren and Frankie were singing. I tried a composition in between these 2 as well of a behind the back angle from the top corner where you could see the whole room and the tv but setting up the perspective was really difficult  and went with the final comp with the mirror showing off the tv. Also I ended up changing their outfits since they were all wearing their basic outfits that I've put them in too much. Frankie ended up in the same clothes but with some different colors, but everyone else got something that shows off their style a bit more. Ren's a sporty girl with her Bumpers Bodyslammers hockey jersey, Ami got overdressed to go out, and Yuka put her hair up and is showing off more skin than normal since she's around friends that she feels comfortable with.

I'm trying to practice getting more personality out of each characters acting in these pics. The food fest drawing felt a bit too staged and lacked that "one frame out of a million" feeling, like they're going to continue doing other stuff after that moment happened. I think this was a good start, hopefully the next one will push it even further.
