I keep it simple. OSS flash hiders on all of em except a Griffin flash hider on my Blackout.

Currently running the VG6 Gamma on my Aero AR. I had to go the brake route anyways because “flash hiders” are considered an “evil assault weapon” feature in my state (but muzzle brakes are apparently just fine 🙄). I was running a $30 brake I found on sale before I bought the VG6, and after changing I think I felt some minor difference in recoil. But what really changed the game for me recoil-wise was switching to an adjustable gas block and tuning the gassing of my rifle. Once I dialed it in, I was shocked at how much softer shooting the rifle was and I would consider it a night and day difference.
