M4A1 Block I [🇺🇸America's Main Rifle] to 500yds: Practical Accuracy

Watch latest videos, sometimes even early releases! Sign up for the newsletter 🗞️ https://tinyurl.com/9HoleReviews or https://tinyurl.com/SlateBlack The M4A1 "Block 1" is synonymous with the current U.S. service member. The prolific and versatile design once championed and developed by the U.S. Special Operations world was mass adopted for service during the Global War on Terror. This Colt 6921 (2011 mfg date) is as close to a true U.S. military Colt M4 as one could get. Manufactured on the same line, wearing the iconic KAC RAS rail and a former USMC Trijicon ACOG/ RCO, we test how well it performs on the range. While we have previously shot the FN15 outfitted as an M4A1, this colt is far closer to a military issued carbine... but comparing it to our previous episode, does it improve? or do the same? What differences do we see? We find out. I recently acquired a S&W VTAC II 15, it came with a 3.5 ACOG 7.62x51 optic on it. Zeroed at 50 yds and it shoots lights out. While an older set up (has Troy proprietary rails). Still learning my hold overs on it but it is going to be my go to.

I hate to be too Fuddy, and I swear I am way too freaking young to be saying this, but I would love to see redemption runs for the M1 Garand and Springfield, 1903A3 on the practical accuracy course. I have used both of these rifles in Highpower/ CMP Service Rifle competitions (600yrd XTC) and feel like they could benefit greatly from a second chance… especially with your combined improved skill set 😉. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the speedway course with the M1 Garand completed in less shots in the practical accuracy course (and in the pouring rain no less)?
