Hey guys. Many of you know what a BVH is but there are those who don't so I will explain. BVH is a file that stores mocap data. As it is VAM has the capacity to read BVH but it's not able to export this file. BVH gives us the ability to fine tune the animations and do a lot of post-processing work. It also allows users and creators to stitch animations together creating new or longer animations. Glitches can now be fixed quickly. Those who are familliar with BVH in VAM will understand the importance of this breakthrough.

I won't promissed anything but starting with the new content I am thinking of having a separate BVH file coming with the scene. Casual users can enjoy the mocaps ''baked'' in VAM and advanced users can now tweak and transform the animations using the included BVH file

Let's talk about this scene. It's a dude...it's me. I am testing the new system. Even though it might look a bit funky the results are amazing. The motion capture is very stable. It lose tracking only when I cause occlusion. Also the body is not my size, there are no elbow trackers and I am shitty mocapper. My model will soon start working with the new way of doing things.

I am really curious what people will create with the BVH files.

FILE IS ON DISCORD

...f..u BVH u bastard.

P.S. To be honest my only merit is pushing really hard for this to happen. Others did the actual hard work and I would like to thank these geniuses for creating these toys for us to enjoy.

This is great news! I have been trying to get BVH to work well in VAM last few days..so great timing. Not much luck getting them to work right for me, people distort or change orientation (flip upside down on on their side on BVH load) or start doing painful yoga dances when moving..lol. Time for me to figure out the right way to use them!

ReignMocap

These BVH work just like a regular mocap. Everything is in order. I still have some issues like body proportion to fix but soon we can “dick” around with bvh. I am really proud of this because it really took some research and trial and error

I've found a lot of the motion capture animations can't be selected with VAM Launch plugin, seems like the animation is attached to the scene rather than either person. I haven't spent much time troubleshooting yet... does this change how things are organized or is it pretty much the same?
