Peridot couldn't understand why Lapis was so upset!  All she'd done was cut the gem's height in half, and it was temporary at that!  Sure, it distributed all that missing height into her assets, and sure it made everything have that slight alluring wobble whenever she moved-

Not the point!  Lapis was just being petty, Peridot was sure of it!  When she was done behaving like a clod, Peridot was hoping she'd be willing to help test the second part of the experiment, where she amplifies a gem's form in...  "gratifying ways".
