This whole arc is such an intense Mood, dang

Anonymous

gaaaaayyy

Peter McDevitt

As a wise man once said, "Fucking go for it, buddy."

Daniel Burnett

Wait we got this one yesterday?

Anonymous

This is the bi panic I know and love.

Lord Crusade

Oh you poor boy you, lol

Michael Boettger

Panel 4: Claire gives the best of all possible advice. Right there.

Anonymous

Took me a moment to realize Clinton was just sticking his tongue out in panel 3, and he didn't just suddenly have lips.

Anonymous

y'all think that robot hand can do special (sexy) tricks?

Celine Chamberlin

What, you mean he and Elliot can't go straight to the dick stuff?

Anonymous

"It's more of a practice than a process." I love this. I love this so much.

Joel Bateman

Oh just kiss him already you red headed bitch.

Miyaa

Tomorrow: Roko gets off on making Croissants.

Joel Bateman

Also, did you really need to crank the sexy on both Claire and Clinton up to 15?

Samantha Yeaman

Can we take a moment to appreciate Clinton's character development? He's approaching this in such a mature and introspective way, taking time to sort himself out and seek advice.

Anonymous

This is awesome ❤️

Dean Reilly

I'm sure Faye and Bubbles can customise it if necessary. Though Clinton may end up with a hand with a flame decal on it.

Shawn K. Younkin

And he also knows- he is on the clock here! He did tell Elliot he would get back at him.

ERRORCODE616

Man I remember being where Clinton is. Just like that turning point in wearing my queerness on the outside for the first time.

Jackie Horn

Claire gives good advice

Dave Van Domelen

Yeah, either of them broaching the topic of a polycule with Brun is gonna take longer than a Dragonball Z fight scene.

Joel Bateman

Been there. Bi-panic is a thing, until you realise it's not so bad.

Anonymous

Totally not crying right now... Love this so much

Sandrock

This arc gives me more to say than I can properly express at this point. That a good thing

Bryan Freehan

Watching Clinton go through this, I know I won't have half the composure he does when I have this moment. If I ever do.

Populuxe

Clinton has come a very long way without losing his essential Clinton-ness. Congratulations.

Erin Moriarty

As someone who realized her own bisexuality late... This is NOSTALGIC. I love it. He's so sweet and I swear to God nothing better hurt my bi/pan prince

Czarzhan

I once told a female friend I was into her and wanted to go further. She said she had to think about it. I had had ladies tell me that before, and it always turned out to mean, "I'm not interested, but I'm going to leave it hanging and hope you forget about it." So, I dropped it. She was too dear a friend to risk screwing up our friendship by forcing the issue. Two days later, I was visiting her apartment, and she had an answer for me. Long story short (too late), we'll be celebrating our 18th anniversary next month.

Yahsho Jinn

Count down until Clinton comes out as trans.

A sheep

He'd better buy some lube because I bet big man is slam dunk hung

Anonymous

"how long does self acceptance usually take?" oh boy what i would give to know the answer to that one.

Diptych

That sounds like some sort of pagan deity. "Beneath the oaks, the Bipan Prince slumbers, awaiting the return of the spring."

Danya Michael

We need Marten to come home and seal the deal with his classic "fuckin' go for it, buddy." It worked on Faye and Bubbles!

Jeremy

This has to have been posted, but I can't find it: "Yeah, yeah yeah. Patience. How long will that take?" E. Gruberman.

Anonymous

I love Clinton’s tongue blep.

BobC

Clinton is SUCH a quant.

Bruce Steinberg

As much as I would love to see my Quandraman set sail, I’m not getting any poly vibes from Clinton and Elliott.

Andrea Andrew

I’m happy that Clinton realized his bisexuality, but I’m curious about what relationship I should support. Will Clinton and Elliot become a thing, and where does that leave Brun (who seems to be involved with Millie) or Emily (who’s probably no longer a love interest to Clinton)?

Anonymous

I love this so much. I see so much of myself in Clinton. It's very comforting.

Anonymous

My journey wasn't _quite_ like Clinton's, but man, I do feel that angst at the end when he's trying to figure out what to do about it. I definitely came at my bisexuality more the way Emily might... I just sorta wandered into a situation I wanted to be in, realized that it would take another guy to make it happen, and then when I met a guy hot enough for it to happen... yeah, that took some processing. Yeah, and it definitely becomes a practice. No one was ever accused of being a "processing bisexual." ("No, I ain't practicing. I've got this part DOWN.")

Bagge

But what about dick stuff?

Anonymous

Jeph: Everyone's gay. Everyone has been gay. Everyone will be gay. Or I'll turn everyone gay. There is no escaping the gay. You have it, too. GAYDAY GAYDAY, GOING DOWN!! (on members of the same gender) Seriously. You're either gay or gay with robots around here. What next, is Marten gonna fuck pintsize? I'm not really anti-gay, but this all seems like a poor excuse for plot progression. Whatever.

Lightsabr2

I do see what you mean. It's not about inclusion it's about nothing else.

Valraven

Ok, there actually needs to be a QC After Dark just because Clinton and Elliot figuring out their first time together would be fucking adorable (and adorable fucking)

Joseph Bonnar

Jeph? Thank you for being so inclusive. While I am not gay, it's valuable to me to be reminded that I am NOT the be all and end all of creation.

Bagge

I really love when Claire and Clinton get over their silly spats and have genuine moments of sibling bonding. Panel 4 is a thing of beauty

Anonymous

Time for a polyamory plotline? 😁 (As a queer poly person this would make me infinitely happy)

Huw Morgan

Now I want Clinton and Faye to talk to each other about their new found bisexuality

Anonymous

I'm genuinely so excited to see where this goes, but the main I've always wanted was Elliot and Clinton to be happy and if they are happy together, even better <3

Phaye

*blep*

Gary Walker

Look, I'm cishetmale etc. and I would like to express myself about this recent series of comics: I demand an end to the depiction of v-neck t-shirts. Nobody has ever looked good in one, and attempts to do so are destined to fail miserably.

Anonymous

Just an observation - there's a statistically anomalous density of LGBTQ+ folk in this strip, and I'm hoping it represents a future where people have managed to let go of some toxic culture and collectively decided to be whatever they actually are. It's a *good* thing... but there are still some cis-hetero folk in the strip, and I think it's worth spending a few frames showing how disappointed they are to be missing out on stuff, lol I've always said I wish I was bi, but I never met that guy.

Anonymous

I love everything about this conversation, it's a healthy discussion and it's beautiful.

Anonymous

I really love the vapors we're seeing in the first panel. Poor boy has to be feeling a little warm after yesterday.

Anonymous

Jeph, between Clinton and Faye, I am so so happy with how you've introduced the concept of questioning your sexuality. I know it's not the case for everyone, but that subconscious knowing translating to an actual lived experience is such an intense journey. Thank you for putting into drawings the feelings that helped shape the beautiful, queer, pansexual, and polyamorous parts of myself. I feel very seen. :)

Scotty

"Now we know" and knowing is half the battle.

Anonymous

"more of a practice than a process" indeed

Joseph Bonnar

Cliffhanger tomorrow (Later today, really.) I'm guessing that Elliot is going to assume the worst about this relationship. I do hope that I'm wrong, if only to keep the shippers afloat.

Evgeniy Semyonov

You mean about nightvision and Earth magic? https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3790 By the way, I just understood that by shown abilities Emily may be the most powerful bisexual in QC-verse.

Anonymous

Seems like every parent thus far depicted in the strip is looking at a no-grandkids future. Which even the most open-minded and loving of them is probably going to feel a *little* disappointed about, because...y'know, grandkids are awesome. I think that would be a nicely complex issue Jeph could look at at some point. You can still love your kids and be totally happy that they've found the right partner and stuff, but I bet Mrs. Whitaker in particular had her hopes pinned on Faye becoming a mother someday. There's plenty of juicy emotional baggage to unpack in that guilty blend of vicarious joy and personal disappointment.

Populuxe

I just got done reading it, and you are 💯% correct. Elliot’s gotta Elliot.

Anonymous

I saw what you did there :D

Stephen Wells

Being in a gay relationship is not the same thing as never having kids, though.

Mark

Faye doesn't like babies https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2185 or children in general https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2178 although she's not definitively opposed to the idea of motherhood https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2354 and thinks that she'd be a cool mom https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2355

Mark

Especially not in the QC verse- "We are working on that technology!" https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2240

Anonymous

Clinton and I should hang out. That is exactly the way I feel right now. 45 years old/married and just figuring out that I'm pretty sure that I'm pan....

Anonymous

Agreed - I'm struggling with/questioning my sexuality currently, and while it's a comic strip, it feels like I have someone in my corner.

William Karr

@Joshua, you’ve always got most of us in the comments in your corner! “Fucking go for it buddy!”

Diptych

I just realised Clinton is wearing what appear to be tiny purple shorts through this entire arc.
