Oh boy

Anonymous

He done fucked up.

I expected her eyes to be red for the last panel.

Anonymous

Oh boy.

EnterTheHero

Oh, no. You shouldn’t have done that.

Miyaa

OH NO

Lord Crusade

The apple may have fallen far from the tree, but it seems to be rolling back towards it....

Anonymous

Poor Hanners. Being bossy and getting people to do what you want isn't inherently bad. It's a tool like any other. I hope she understands that. But I can see this causing a huge crisis for her.

William Cole

And that's why she releases the virus…

Anonymous

Guess she's still on her way to becoming a supervillain after all.

Anonymous

Wait, is Hannelore now going to chew out her mother to get this done?

Anonymous

4% doesnt seem that bad some days...

Anonymous

Oh boy, also what does w h a t sound like? Just slower?

Niskara

Shouldn't have said that. Should NOT have said that

Michael Boettger

But yeah, between Tilly and Station, they could write up the proposals, get him to sign, and get it SAFELY planetsize. And perhaps petty cash to put a down payment on a new chassis.

Andrew

Bad Winston. Next he’ll be sharing his body with May! Hmm would that be like a conscience? Or split/competing personalities.

*It's Always Sunny Theme* "Winslow Fucking Dies"

YOU DONE MESSED UP NOW WINSLOW

Faye and Bubbles' next project: dislodging Winslow's foot from his mouth

Grace Kieser

Sorry, Hanners. We all eventually end up channeling our parents.

Captain Button

Welp. time for Winslow to return to the yaks. He'll live peacefully there

Simon Green

Chill, Hanners, it's Winston.

Dean Reilly

Hanners being exasperated with her dad was just what I needed today.

Anonymous

Winslow isn't wrong, you know...

Thomas Halpin

I mean, it's not like Winslow is just wrong, he just might have better considered the impact of his statement.

Adam Daw

How dare you, sir!

Douglas E. Smith

Good thing Winslow doesn't have his old body. He wouldn't have made it off the counter, much less out of Hanners' reach...

Czarzhan

Shit, he'd have been doing a Frisbee imitation out the front window in his old body.

Anonymous

He'd *better* run....

Matthew Van Gangelen

It’s the slow pointed angry ‘what’ that has an implied challenge. You would have heard it before.

Bonnie Fiddis

I’m saving that What! As a reaction image 😆

William Burns

The Hannering has begun. None shall be spared.

Will Weaver

Are we now one step closer to releasing the virus? Damn it, Winslow.

drone r0m-3

Oh Winslow, we hardly knew ye.

Anonymous

Hannelore seems to teleport from back to front of bar, and back again. She is behind the bar in each panel but you have to look twice.

Anonymous

I think it's just that the bar and the back wall are the same color and in some of the panels it happens to be cropped in a way that the bar is not visible, but I definitely thought you were right for a minute there.

Anonymous

Ooooooo miniscule possibility of this eventually leading to a phonecall

Bryce Maryott

Don't forget, there are TWO emergency AI bodies they might have access to - Winslow's and (I think) Momo's. Wait - didn't they do something to Momo's old body to prevent Pintsize from... well, being Pintsize?

Anonymous

The comparison is horrible, but the power is necessary.

Thomas A. Dennis

I mean... yeah? the Rollins Band's "Just Like You" is relevant here.

Devinity

and besides, such a body would make her job difficult

So Winslow has a self-destruct function, but with extra steps. Gotcha.

awgiedawgie

Too bad that computer in his head doesn't allow Winslow to think before he speaks.

Nulgar

By now, I can't read the words "oh no" without the song of the same name by Luke Westaway starting in my head. The opening lyrics even kinda fit: Oh no Terrible news: I've grown Grown as a person Not enough to make me better, more considerate Less anxious in myself

Ye Olde Phart

Panels 3 and 4 are perfect to create a "tales from retail" meme. Thank you! :D

SpookyPenguin

My mom always said, you never know what you're gonna git.

Is this scene in Coffee of Doom? It's been forever since we've been there!

Evgeniy Semyonov

I don't know why, but this was my first association: Menalore. https://i.imgur.com/bQfYW4u.png

Chris Crowther

I mean, having her mother's organisational skills isn't a terrible thing.

Joseph Bonnar

I think this is the only appropriate response: Winslow? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Uf_rTLqj0o

jimbo

Hannelore's hidden power- a face-melting stare. Funny, her mother had that one too!

Anonymous

Nice use of kerning for evoking dread. :-)

Peter Jensen

What's that referencing, I just saw it used here a few hours ago and now I'm curious: https://twitter.com/gene_hf/status/1283173730990997505

That hair kinda looks like a lion's mane. Angry lion Hanners.

Anonymous

They find out three weeks from now he had Station crank out a state-of-the-art body for her from the onsite labs and shipped it the same day he sent the letter, but there was a routing problem and it went through Hong Kong... It looks all blobby and bland till they turn it on, and then it autoconfigures to an androgynous body and face until you select specific features, and - it looks exactly like Yay.

Anonymous

Not that long, the party they had the other day was there. In universe it probably was one or tw days ago

Sleepy John

Them’s fightin’ words, Winslow.

Anonymous

To be fair, I only complete about 4% of the project I've ever started, and I've already managed to change the world twice. :-)

Anonymous

I love tannelore.

KingAtticus

Not at all no, but Hanners would not want to be compared to someone as ruthlessly corporate and business-minded as her mother

Summer Sudbrink

To paraphrase Terry Pratchett, Hannelore has a big red button with a sign that reads “END OF THE WORLD BUTTON. DO NOT PUSH.” and Winslow didn’t even wait for the paint to dry. Although to be fair, that paint is probably going to still be tacky after the heat death of the universe.

Anonymous

She doesn't want anything to do with her mother at this point. And I'm pretty sure Hanners would realize the hypocrisy of contacting her mother specifically to use her for her own benefit.

Anonymous

Honestly I don't see that as a bad thing in the sense that she's trying to keep her dad motivated and committed to his word.

awgiedawgie

Yeah, but how much could you have changed the world if you completed more of what you started?

Bagge

release the virus
