This is why I've trained myself to avert my gaze, if only slightly, to a neutral subject when immobile and thinking "deep thoughts". It's normally not an issue with me, as I am rarely immobile in that state. I pace.

When I was younger, I would get lost in thought with my eyes staring in some direction or other that I was no longer paying attention to, oblivious to anybody I might be bothering. I hope Clinton has a better time learning to deal with it than I did.

the most interesting thing about this is that Clinton's musing seems to indicate that it is unusual for such a couple to exist. are they the first AI-human romantic linkup?? is all this so new?? AIs sharing a society with humans has presented in a very matter-of-fact way in QC for a long time - is the integration of society a more recent event/process than previously implied?? this is fascinating.
