MNL Progress Report #34 (Patreon)

Hey nudies! Sorry again for the late post. Would've had this up yesterday, but my computer was having issues. This is gonna be a shorter post following up on some stuff we touched on last update.

So, we got Amber's new model in! We still need to implement her old jiggle physics, but check her out! Her freckles are more prominent and we've done away with much of her pre-baked shadows for some light dynamic shadows without sacrificing much performance! It even makes her look softer! I even touched up some texture work on her myself, and I'm gonna pat myself on the back because her nipples look SO CUTE. Bear did such an incredible job with this model revision! THANK YOU BEAR.

On the other subject from last post, we have decided to stay the course and won't be bringing on a second programmer at this time. On top of fixing some bugs regarding dialogue/animation timing, Invertex has made some significant progress on cutscenes and even implemented Amber being able to hold inventory items in her hand on top of it all. 

He even added physics to this towel! That's nuts! Invertex is incredible!

Not counting optional interactions, we have 6 cutscenes left to build for the demo. Though we can't give a definite release date for the demo as of yet, we don't think it's completely necessary to bring in a new programmer at this time. We're still worried that the time it would take to teach and double-check work would only delay the demo further. We'll be staying the course and continuing as we are at this time. Sorry again for the delay and the lack of a demo release, but as always, we'll keep you informed every week! We're always working and we're always happy to show off our work.

And while we do this, we'll still be working on content for the full release as well. In a weird way, us taking longer on the demo means that the wait for the full release will be shorter in a sense. And speaking of, a sneak peek at another new character for the outdoor mall. She runs a shady little shop tucked away in the corner where she creates and sells all sorts of fun little... toys. A sort of toymaker, if you get my drift. And rumor has it, she's looking for someone to help demonstrate how fun these toys are...
