MNL Progress Report #92 (Patreon)

Hey there, nudies! Nice week full of progress for us here! Anne's been working on various UI elements for us, and Invertex has been plugging them into the game! Check out this cool little hintbox the two of them made! Just ignore the typo, we'll be fixing that later.

Anne's been doing an incredible job defining the visual style of the game. In fact, they've done such a great job, I went back to my old script and realized it didn't feel up to par. I'm going through and giving it YET ANOTHER full rewrite to better match Anne's energy. Don't worry, this won't delay the game any further than it already has been. In fact, you might actually see things speed up a bit because of it! We hit on some great inspiration thanks to Anne and it's resulted in a shorter, tighter intro with some new gameplay elements that I know you're all going to love. More to come on that soon!

In the meantime, Bear finished making the town library! Check it out!

The roof is a book! Isn't that the cutest shit?! Don't worry, the left-side staircase will be converted into a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. It's just mirroring the texture for the stairs now as a placeholder. Video game stuff. Special shout out to the vending machine Bear also added for it.
