Second part of Cody's big think. He realizes Willy may not be as in control of his responses as Cody believed

It's difficult to deal with a traumatized person without holding the person responsible for the hurtful things they say and do. You can't infantilize them by ignoring their agency, but you have to recognize some range of their responses are filtered through that trauma

And most importantly, you can't just will another person to stop their unhealthy behavior 

I'm sure I'll update the monologue on this page as I think about it more carefully! Presenting these ideas in a clean way that meshes with Willy and Cody's story is tough!
