"Most Wanted" #8: Mussolini - Final Five Poll! (Patreon)

Mr Benito Mussolini. Should he be in an ERB, or should he not? We've wrestled with that question for a while now. And honestly, we're still not sure. He feels like a perfect character for Lloyd to portray. But, do we NEED him in an ERB? The jury is still out on that one.

That's why he was selected for a round of Most Wanted in the first place. We received 50+ suggestions from you folk for potential opponents. We had to narrow it down to a final five options and we've now done so. Thank you to everyone who chipped in with ideas! 

Here they all are: (in no particular order) 

1) Saddam Hussein: everyone's favourite 90's villain with an alleged taste for weapons of mass destruction. It'd be a battle of two of the biggest heels of history for sure.

2) Hannibal Barca: the Carthaginian general who's known for being the greatest military tactician in history and for his clashes against the Romans; especially on elephants.

3) Rocky Balboa: the self proclaimed Italian Stallion boxing hero who took down a doped up Russian and who'd now be going toe to toe with an Italian fascist beefcake in the ERB ring

4) Emperor Nero: the much maligned Roman Emperor possibly known best for his fiddling whilst Rome burned, but beyond that unlikely tale the guy is all kinds of crazy for sure.

5) Chairman Mao: otherwise known as Mao Zedong the Chinese communist who is noted for his fond love for causing millions of deaths. Like Benito, not one to take home to mother.

Remember - just because an opponent wins a poll doesn't mean that's the only character we'd put in an ERB with Mussolini. These polls are about exploring what's out there and getting opinions. Not to try to make any final decision on who a character should face.
