So it's been about a year and 5 months since I started my Patreon journey! For new people who joined my Patreon, until 2 months ago, I used to be traveling around the world moving from country to country once a month ^^;; Unfortunately, that lifestyle came to an abrupt end when I noticed most countries have adopted a stricter border control on travelers like me. It's been a good run so far and I can't complain even though I kind of already miss that hectic lifestyle haha.

There's already 250 of you here... >.> I wake up each morning wondering how it's gotten this big. Even 25 seemed like a huge number back when I first started and now there's an extra 0 at the end, that's crazy! xD All I can say is that I'm very grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to share art the way I do with everyone's support.

But that's enough of that, I'd like to take this chance to make a special announcement in that next month I will be putting my Patreon charge on hold and take a month break. The reasons are pretty simple in that I've found lately I've been running into a lot of art blocks more frequently and after discussing it over with fellow artists I've come to the conclusion that it would be in my best interest to take a break from creating Patreon content and focus on some personal projects I've been meaning to pursue but couldn't until all this time.

As I understand Patreon charges you around 1st or 2nd of each month (start of the month) so I'll be putting that on hold for a month.

This month's reward under normal circumstances would most likely be delivered to your DMs around the 5th or 6th of October, unfortunately, I would like a little more time. I'll have them delivered to you around the 10th [That's a rough estimate and may be subjective to change but I'll try to get it ready around then].

I know that some of you have already noticed that I've been pursuing some other projects the past few weeks and while I say I'll be taking a break for a month, I will still be actively drawing things. One of these you'll see is my long overdue OC designs, Sister FoxyRain who will become my personal vtuber identity on my streams! I'll be working on this exclusively the following month and you'll soon be able to meet her on my streams ^^;; I'll still be working on overdue commissions which had been delayed for whatever reasons, there's also new emotes coming to my Discord and Streams so look forward to more art in the weeks to come...... Am I really taking a break...hmm >.>....

Speaking of which...

Which do you prefer? ^^

I'm thinking of implementing a slight image change than my usual slightly curly fluffy hairstyle on the right.

1. Straight long hairstyle
2. Curly long hairstyle

Getting back to the main topic, even if I do put Patreon on hold, you'll still be getting regular news feed of my current projects and you'll also be able to find me on my streams both on Picarto and Twitch.

Now then, I think the only thing I ought to cover is the monthly waifu suggestions... Had I known I was thinking of taking a break I probably would have left them closed for a month.

Unfortunately, I most likely won't be able to pursue the monthly waifu for next month due to my plans to pursue some personal projects as well as completing some older delayed commissions. I also know that my dear friend and animator, Alex, will also be busy participating in the annual Live2D competitions so even if I do draw the waifu, we would still have the problem of finding another animator for it, and you guys know first hand how magical Alex's animations are... xD I dare say I'd be challenged to find a better animator to work with!

I humbly wish to apologize and ask that the monthly waifu stuff will have to be postponed for the following month after October.

So TL:DR

I'll be taking a month break starting 1st of October. Patrons won't be charged!

You'll still get to see my art here and my social media!

I'll still be streaming on Picarto and Twitch!

Last but not least, for those of you who joined my Patreon in support of your favorite HololiveEN Vtuber Waifus, good news! Once I'm done drawing all five of them, I'll be compiling these into a gumroad pack which can be obtained on my Gumroad.

You guys will receive a 50% discount code. T-There will be a slightly lewd variant unseen before included in those packs too...

I think that's pretty much sums up everything I wanted to announce.

Here is a pic of my current desk with all my tools of the trade.

Got myself a new mic on the left and a bigger 2nd monitor on the right.

I probably should start looking at getting a PC instead of drawing on a laptop... >.>

2021-07-18 06:15:36 Agreed. Curly hair is better. I have a touchscreen 2-in-1 laptop (Lenovo Yoga 730) with a stylus (Lenovo Art 2), so when I draw, I fold it in half and draw straight on the screen. It's just like having a real artpad. I can curl up in bed with my cat & coffee and still draw digitally! It's awesome-sauce!
