Aaron you're good and yes I agree about the issues of double standards. If roles were reversed it would've looked very bad, almost like harassment. But again, yeah this show is fictional and in South Korea, stuff like this is really normal.

Gang-Tae's life is a lot like Dong-Hoon's from My Mister. He's devoted his life to duty, which is caring for his brother. There isn't room for anything else in his life, no girlfriend, nothing but work and his brother. Now Ms Ko has shown him the possibility of freedom and he doesn't know what to do.

There are double standards in Korea for sure. The scenes with the flasher got complaints, but far fewer than what they got when the guy was being harassed by a woman.

I can still remember how I cried a lot watching the last part of this episode. Just the fact that it shows how people treats a person with mental illness as a trash breaks my heart. As he said on that stage “they treat me bad because I’m dumb...but that’s not my fault... I was just born a little dumb than my siblings... but he hits me, locks me, treats me invisible... I want him to look at me, notice me.... that’s why I decided to just end up being crazy....” It hits right through the heart. That people are being treated that way because they were born like that. It’s not like they wanted to have mental illness. It was not their fault and they’re suffering too. And yet, people only knows how to judge others without knowing what they’re going through and why they became like that.

I see quite a lot of people recommending and asking you to watch “Descendants of the Sun” and I totally agree with them 💯 I can definitely imagine you enjoying that kdrama. That’s just one of the best kdrama I’ve ever watched too! ❤️❤️❤️

If you like crazy characters watch Penthouse next. Probably the craziest kdrama in my life. If you like stories about love then Descendants of the sun(i don't like this kdrama at all, but many people like it). If you want smth dark then Strangers from hell (about psychopaths) or Mouse( same but more interesting plot twists). You can watch kdramas about school life(their education system is very different from ours and all these bullyings by other children and parents are not fiction) like Sky castle, Penthouse. Or comedy kdramas like Kill me heal me(story as Billy miligans, multiple personality disorder).

I sincerely hope he reacts to Kill Me Heal Me. It's still one of the best K-dramas I've watched. You're also right about descendants of the sun. It wasn't really my thing either.

Why Is no one recomending Itaewon Class? Like it was the best drama of 2020 in my opinion and one of the very best i have ever seen overall. It has a mix of almost every genre. Like theres action, comedy, romance, friendship, politics, drama. It also raise awareness of importent subjects like being transgender in Korea, being a black/foregner in Korea as well as politics. Like it is so good.

Why are people recommending dramas, you just started this one xD Also, now that I'm watching this drama for a second time, I can appreciate it A LOT more. Munyeong's way of thinking is very interesting, it makes you look at things from a different perspective.
