we have very similar top 9 there's so many talented and just lovable contestants on the show and I can't wait to see more, also because I see so much talent and potential my top 9 changes a little everyday as I try to vote for all the ones that have caught my eye, only 3-4 are never changing so far haha. Im excited to watch this second episode with you.

Looking forward to watching your reaction later. We share a lot of our Top 9. Seo Won’s currently my number 1, so I was disappointed his stage was cut. Hoping that he gets some screentime in the next performance, aside from just the reaction shots he’s been getting.

i'm pretty positive hui is going to get the kim jaehwan broduce arc of "INSANE BATSHIT SINGER but my god he cannot dance" but with hui actually having the basics down and being able to follow along to choreo from the start. tbh the big hurdles for him are improving his dancing and getting over his nerves, which tbh will most likely come as time passes considering he got out of the military ONE WEEK before applying for BP and is clearly very rusty (for him lol, he's still doing circles around half these poor kids LMAO) because of it. also, it seems like he's really fond of sung hanbin and i hope we see more of them moving forward! ever since hui talked about feeling lonely, i've just been hoping he develops some really close friendships with the other trainees despite the age gaps. i hope he walks out of this show with an army of little brothers and sons who will do anything for him. the uniforms are so ugly and i know everyone hates them but i LOVE them. they're hideous and perfect. make them so ugly that even A class are embarrassed. equality. OH AND FUN FACT! the demo version's vocals are very distinct, to the point where people have super easily figured out who did it: wanna one and soloist ha sungwoon! edit because i just remembered to say it while watching: despite being relatively middle in terms of the ages, sung hanbin has such comforting hyung energy it's kind of unreal. if (when) he makes the final lineup, you can practically see how he's going to be the Emotional Support member who knows how to comfort and regulate the people around him. he's seems extremely empathetic and patient. -- and coming off the same scene, i'm so invested in seeing doha grow :(

Yeah, the signal song challenge - idk what other people's thoughts are, but I'm not sure about the whole "you only get 4 stars if you're virtually perfect" thing...like I feel if you're an incredible vocalist (looking at you, hui and jay), as long as your dancing is decent, it's all good 🤷‍♀️ but ig it kinda goes back to the debate of how important good vocals are in kpop not saying that dance isn't very important, especially in a show like this! I just feel like you shouldn't have to be the best dancer ever if you're incredibly strong in other areas also, I'm not a singer, so idk, but is it possible for the trainees with lower voice ranges to sing songs with such a high vocal range? Not sure if that can be learned or if it would be damaging to them also also, about having different specialties, I get that for a survival show like this you have to do pretty much everything, but should even the rappers be expected to sing amazingly? idk if all of them are expected to be able to both sing and rap I'm still flabbergasted at matthew's popularity tbh, his pre-show fancams and intro videos never got a ton of views or anything - I was fully prepared to be in the trenches for him this whole show but here mnet is, giving him a whole-ass storyline LMAO my guy's in 5th - WILD
