EXOL2020

I think Suho shocked the hell out of a lot of people with this album. I love Self-Portrait, and it does have the live instruments and somewhat dreamy feel to it, like this album, but he took it somewhere different this time around, and really put some flavor and as you said, "magic" into the mix this time around. I think you will enjoy Self-Portrait quite a bit, and there is less of the Brit soft rock (or progressive rock, as Suho calls it) sound to the songs, so there's that. I honestly can't pick a favorite song, because they all make me feel different things, and are perfect for many different situations. As far as Bops go, then Hurdle it is it all the way, but the rest of the album is so freaking epic and majestic. He DID that, and I couldn't be more impressed, and proud. Suho has always been a wonderful vocalist, but I feel like he has really upped his game here, and with him writing all the lyrics to the songs, he is really stepping into his own as an amazing lyricist. His song selection (which was probably ALL him, since they are very "Suho" songs) is also spot on, and just makes this album an absolute gem. As I said, it has stunned pretty much every person that has listened to it, and they were not prepared...at all. The most amazing things is how fast he cranked this out. He had been writing the lyrics to some of the songs while in the military, and this album is all about his feelings from that time, and the songs are all about or for the fans. And time is the theme of the whole album. I shouldn't be so gobsmacked by this album, as I know what the members of this group are capable of, and they are a freaking force to be reckoned with, but they still always manage to stun and amaze me. Thanks for giving this album so much love, and for posting it so quickly after the MV listens. Glad to see EXO on your channel again!!
