Learning blender - A few different Projects (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone!
I've been a little quiet lately. That is because I had my hands full quite a bit!
I finally started to learn blender. And it is going really well!
Already figured out a lot of needed things. I am planning to get into Materials and shader-settings next. Even Mo-capping should not be a problem in there once I eventually learned it! But before that, I'll have to build a couple of IK-rigs to make all poses look even more natural. The Asuka/Tina one for example was an old XNA project that I had. I imported it into Blender and rendered it out. I hated working with XNA. It was a pain. But learning Blender is quite different. It's even.. quite a fun thing to do! Learning the basics that I need for my creations while still knowing that I am able to learn so much more than SFM could ever offer me.
Also: There's a new project coming up rather soon. You may remember it.
It was the Skye vs Asuka Facesit Animation that I did a while back.
Back then when I did it, I was running into a critical error with SFM that was quite frustrating.
Now that it is fixed, I would like to revisit it again and add a few things!
I'll use this day to add a few more things to it. I have already been working on it for a bit now.
It really deserved a more proper background.
It might be here on Sunday since I am not sure how much I will add.
ALSO!...
I did something completely new with Blender.
Which is essentially.. using the in-game model of a real person to pose something.
I am a bit unsure about it. But I would like to give it a go since it looks rather beautiful.
Who's interested in seeing my first animation attempt of Alexa bliss smothering Asuka into defeat? : P
If that one goes well, I may even add a reverse headscissor in which she chokes the young Tekken fighter out. Let me know in the comments if that is something you would like to see!
Edit:
ALSO...Asuka's hair color is different due to an error in the shaders.
As I have mentioned before, the Shaders are something that I will tackle soon.
I already managed to fix the hair-problem though. It will appear as normal in future renders!
