"In the tapestry of faith's narrative, few threads are as luminous as those woven by the Living Relics."

- From the "Holy Scriptures of Aeta" by Escipio the Solemn

The Living Relic Domain is one of the 12+ subclass options that will be included in our upcoming book - Erevan's Guide to Death and Beyond launching on Kickstarter on May 21st!

In the annals of divine worship, few paths are as mystically profound as those who are destined to become Living Relics. From the hallowed halls of ancient temples to the forgotten altars in distant lands, the tale of these clerics unfolds—a journey of sanctification, where the devout transform their very being into a testament of their deity's power. Initiated through the solemn rite of the “Sacred Body,” the saints-to-be embark on a path that transcends the mundane, etching the divine into their very flesh and bone. As they tread this sacred trail, marked by stages of celestial metamorphosis, they become beacons of their faith's tenacity and grace.

Their transformation is not merely symbolic; it is a tangible alteration that imbues them with abilities beyond mortal ken. At the first sign of their commitment, their bodies start to manifest ethereal markings and hues, signalling the inception of their hallowed journey. Progressing further, they gain the power to repel and vanquish Undead abominations, their bones and blood becoming conduits of holy might. In their most exalted form, they embody the pinnacle of their deity's will, capable of feats that blur the line between the divine and the earthly.

Revered as semi-divine figures, these clerics are both guardians against darkness and vessels of divine healing. Their presence is a boon to those who seek their aid, yet their path is fraught with challenges that test their faith and humility. To bear the mantle of a living relic is to hold a fragment of the divine, a responsibility that demands the utmost devotion and sacrifice.
