Weekly update #10 (Patreon)

Unfortunately I haven't been posting or working on anything for awhile as I've been sick. Started feeling better and getting back into working on my art. 

While I was sick I thought about my work process and goals. I realized I started making the same mistake I made before. When I was working on creating my own models I gave myself to much to do learning modeling, rigging, animating, texturing etc. Now with Daz I've been dividing my attention between to many projects at once weekly small renders, alts, monthly large renders, Family Entertainment, and still wanting to learn hand painting at the same time. So I've decided to take a more quality over quantity approach and focus mainly on larger projects. 

-ALTS-

First of all I've going to stop doing alts for now. The part that takes the longest is setting the characters and scenes after that's done posing the characters usually doesn't take that long. With normal renders or even the larger image sets I might only need two or three characters but with the alts I'd need at least five characters or more, and then I need to pose each alt character to align correctly. This means that renders with alts can sometimes take just as long as the larger sets excluding render time. I still want to do alt stuff with futaxfuta or futaxfemboy but for now I'm putting them on hold. In the future once I've gotten more comfortable with creating handpainted/stylized models I might make alt versions of smaller animations.

-WEEKLY/MONTHLY RENDERS-

I'll be stopping with weekly renders as well. I still have a couple renders done that I forgot to post while sick, I'll be posting those this week but after that I'm going to begin focusing on larger sets and mini comics

-FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT-

As stated in my previous post I'm rewriting the script for Family Entertainment as I wasn't satisfied with my writing. While I'm not abandoning the game I will be putting creating renders for it on a temporary hold. I want to get all or at least most of the writing for it done before continuing, that way I have a clear goal of where I'm going with the story as well as what renders I need to do. In the meantime I'm going to be doing mini comics like Sex ed to help me practice writing.

Focusing on mini comics in Daz and writing practice for Family Entertainment.

TUE-THUR-SAT

Focusing on creating handpainted/stylized models using Blender, Krita and Substance.
