I tried making a new wing and arm rig and merging it with the old base rig so I wouldn't have to remake the entire rig, but this messed up the weight painting and bone constraints ,so I had re-weight the whole rig and set up the constraints again which took me much longer than it probably should have.

I've finally started work on the new textures but then ran into another issue, it seems blender can't handle 4k textures so whenever I try to paint the view port starts lagging and has crashed several times. I'll have re-scale the texture to 2k again until I can find a better program for texture painting.
