The Weekly Report #50 | December 30, 2022 (Patreon)

Hello dear Patrons,

It's Friday and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] MAPPING FOLLOW-UP GRAND UTOPIA

Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
During the first few days of my holiday I was able to make good progress on the creation of Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel. The southern part of the town is now finished. You will find several pictures of this area in the gallery of this report.

I just realised afterwards that I hadn't put a new garage in the area to buy 😅 Therefore, I think I will put it at the northern entrance of the city where I plan to make a more agricultural area.

At the same time, I was able to attack the last part of the city with the laying of the first roads and the first buildings in the historical centre. I can't wait to see how this area looks!

Routes d'accès
To keep you informed of the rest of the things to do before the next version is published, I have also finished the departmental road 25 which links the south of St-Sylvestre-Cappel to the D4, 1 km north of Chirac. Some time ago I had talked about making a small playable hamlet on this road but in the end I won't do it as it turns out that the road is quite short!

Concerning the other roads leading to St-Sylvestre-Cappel, for the moment, no scenery has been made either on the RN4 to the south, the RN4 to the north or the D6 to the east.

[2] VOTE TO CHOOSE THE NAME OF THE BRITISH TERRITORY

The 3rd and final vote is currently underway to elect the name of the British Isle. If you haven't voted yet, it's over here. Don't miss the opportunity to use your Patron-only voting power!

[4] PERSONAL THOUGHTS

Also, I've already put a note on the Discord about this, so you should know that the next version released will be a beta version (v1.14.8), which in consistency will be the official version (v1.15). I would like to give you early access to the next version so that we can make sure that everything works properly and that I haven't made any big mistakes! Also, this will allow me to fix any small bugs you may have spotted. You will have this version a week before the official version is released.

Bonjour chers Patrons,

Nous sommes vendredi et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] POINT MAPPING GRAND UTOPIA

Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
Durant les premiers jours de mes vacances, j'ai pu bien avancé sur la création de Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel. La partie sud de la ville est à présent terminée. Vous trouverez d'ailleurs plusieurs photos de cette zone dans la galerie de ce rapport.

Je me suis juste rendu compte après coup que je n'avais pas mis de garage à acheter dans le coin 😅 Par conséquent, je pense que je vais le mettre à l'entrée nord de la ville où je prévois de faire un zone plus agricole.

Dans le même temps, j'ai pu attaqué le dernier quartier de la ville avec la pose des premières routes et des premiers bâtiments dans le centre-historique. J'ai vraiment hâte de voir le rendu de cette zone !

Routes d'accès
Pour vous tenir informé du reste des choses à faire avant la publication de la prochaine version, j'ai également terminé la route départementale 25 qui permet de lier le sud de St-Sylvestre-Cappel à la D4, à 1 km au nord de Chirac. J'avais parlé, il y a quelques temps, de faire un petit hameau jouable sur cette route mais finalement je ne le ferai pas car il s'avère que la route est assez courte !

Concernant les autres routes menant à St-Sylvestre-Cappel, pour le moment, aucun décor n'a été fait que ce soit au la RN 4 au sud, la RN4 au nord ou la D6 à l'Est.

[2] VOTE POUR CHOISIR LE NOM DE L'ÎLE BRITANNIQUE

Le 3e et dernier vote est actuellement en cours pour l'élection du nom de l'île britannique. Si vous n'avez pas encore voté, c'est par ici. Ne manquez pas l'occasion d'utiliser votre pouvoir de vote réservé aux Patrons !

[4] PENSÉES PERSONNELLES

Aussi, j'ai déjà mis un petit mot sur le Discord à ce sujet, sachez que la prochaine version publiée sera une version beta (v1.14.8) qui, en consistance, sera la version officielle (v1.15). Je souhaite vous laisser un accès anticipé à la prochaine version afin qu'on puisse s'assurer que tout fonctionne correctement et que je n'ai pas fait de grosses erreurs ! Aussi, cela me permettra de corriger les petits bugs que vous aurez repéré. Vous aurez cette version une petite semaine avant la publication de la version officielle.
