Hello dear Patrons,

It's Friday and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] MAPPING FOLLOW-UP GRAND UTOPIA

Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
This week I have been working on the construction of St-Sylvestre-Cappel. The first of the three districts (the business centre/marina) is well underway, although far from finished. The south of the city, which will be the industrial/logistics part, is also starting to take shape and it is always satisfying to finally see what a new city will really look like. In the gallery of this post you will find several images of the progress made this week!

Renovation on the Gavroche side
The improvement of the Gavroche area is officially finished. I just have to place a point of interest in this little village to finish this renovation! I'm really looking forward to your feedback on these small changes.

[2] YOUR SUGGESTIONS FOR NAMES FOR THE UK TERRITORY

You had until midday today to submit your ideas for the name of the British territory off the island of Grand Utopia. Here is the full list of the 20 names that were submitted:

• Fela's Riff

So the next step is to hold a series of votes to determine the final name. I am thinking of doing this:

∟ 1st vote with all the proposals to determine the 5 names most liked by you.
∟ 2nd vote with the 5 names previously elected to determine 2 favourites.
∟ 3rd and final vote with the 2 favourite names to decide the final name.

Does this sound good to you? If so, we can start next week with the first vote and have the results for the next report.

[3] YOUTUBE VIDEOS

I also took the time to record some videos this week. I haven't had time to upload them to YouTube yet but that will happen very soon. To keep you informed, there will be at least 2 Café Mappings and they will concern the creation of a delivery point for the company Utopian Home Movers in Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel. This will allow you to deliver moving boxes to this small condominium.

[4] PERSONAL THOUGHTS

This weekend I will be away. My wife and I are going to visit my in-laws for her birthday. Therefore, there will be little progress in mapping unfortunately.

So, with the arrival of the first snow, I wanted to activate the Winter Mod on ETS 2. And you, do you have this kind of mod? ☃ Here is a picture taken in St-Sylvestre-Cappel but find other pictures of Utopia under the snow in the gallery!

Nous sommes vendredi et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] POINT MAPPING GRAND UTOPIA

Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
Cette semaine, j'ai travaillé à la construction de St-Sylvestre-Cappel. Le premier des trois quartiers (le centre d'affaire/port de plaisance) est bien avancé, bien que loin d'être fini. Le sud de la ville, qui sera la partie industrielle/logistique, commence également à se dessiner et c'est toujours satisfaisant d'enfin voir ce à quoi va réellement ressembler une nouvelle ville. Vous trouverez dans la galerie de ce post plusieurs images des avancées effectuées cette semaine !

Rénovation côté Gavroche
L'amélioration de la zone de Gavroche est officiellement terminée. Il ne me reste qu'à placer un point d'intérêt dans ce petit village pour clore cette rénovation ! J'ai vraiment hâte d'avoir vos retours quant à ces petits changements.

[2] VOS PROPOSITIONS DE NOMS POUR LE TERRITOIRE BRITANNIQUE

Vous aviez jusqu'à aujourd'hui midi pour soumettre vos idées de noms pour le territoire britannique situé au large de l'île de Grand Utopia. Voici donc la liste complète des 20 noms qui ont été proposés :

∟ 1er vote avec l'ensemble des propositions pour déterminer les 5 noms les plus aimés par vous
∟ 2e vote avec les 5 noms précédemment élus pour déterminer 2 favoris
∟ 3e et dernier vote avec le 2 noms en favori pour décider du nom définitif.

Cela vous semble-t-il bon ainsi ? Si oui, nous pourrons commencer dès la semaine prochaine avec le premier vote et ainsi avoir les résultats pour la prochain rapport.

[3] VIDÉOS YOUTUBE

J'ai également pris le temps d'enregistrer quelques vidéos cette semaine. Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de les uploader sur YouTube mais cela arrivera très prochainement. Pour vous tenir informés, il va y avoir au moins 2 Café Mapping et ils concerneront la création d'un point de livraison pour la société Utopian Home Movers à Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel. Cela vous permettra de livrer des cartons de déménagement au sein de cette petite copropriété.

[4] PENSÉES PERSONNELLES

Ce weekend, je serai absent. Ma femme et moi partons voir ma belle-famille pour son anniversaire. Par conséquent, il n'y aura que peu d'avancée mapping malheureusement.

Aussi, avec l'arrivée des premières neiges, j'ai eu envie d'activer le Winter Mod sur ETS 2. Et vous, avez-vous ce genre de mod ? ☃ Voici une photo prise à St-Sylvestre-Cappel mais retrouvez d'autres photo d'Utopia sous la neige dans la galerie !
