Hello dear Patrons,

It's Friday and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] MAPPING FOLLOW-UP GRAND UTOPIA

Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
Not much progress this week in Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel. As mentioned in my previous report, I didn't have time to map last Saturday because it was my birthday. So I decided to go ahead with the renovation of the Gavroche area instead.

The few hours of mapping this week were therefore dedicated to the renovation of the Gavroche area. Well advanced, this renovation is almost finished as I write these lines. I've done my best to make this area more attractive to you so I hope you'll take advantage of the next version to spend more time in the surroundings of this little village. You can find several pictures of the renovation in the gallery of this post.

[2] SURVEY ON THE NAME OF THE UK TERRITORY

This week, I called for your participation via this article in which I asked you to submit your ideas for names for the future British territory. So far, no less than twenty suggestions have been made and I thank you very much for your participation! If you want to submit your ideas, there is still time to participate. You have until Friday 8 December at midday to send your ideas via the form. All the ideas will be announced publicly in the next report and, following this, we will hold a series of votes to decide on the name of the British territory.

[3] WRITING A NEW SHEET FOR THE MANUAL

Finally, I took the time this week to start writing a new sheet for my SCS Map Editor user manual. Following many requests, this sheet concerns the creation of a custom company as I have done many times on Grand Utopia with the players' VTC. The French version has been entirely written and I will proceed to the translation in English during next week. However, writing this sheet has raised many other points to be mentioned in the manual so, for the time being, I advise against getting into it if you are new to the mapping universe. As a reminder, the manual is available for free from the Grand Utopia website (www.grandutopia.fr) via the button on the far right in the top menu bar.

[4] WEEKLY REPORTS FAN ARTS

For 3 weeks now, I have decided to use a different image for each report. Moreover, these images are stylized in order to break the monotony of my reports. I don't know if this will be interesting for you so, in case of doubt, you will find the images used in the attachment of the reports so that you can download them if you wish. Today I'm putting the last three up for you so you don't miss any!

Nous sommes vendredi et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] POINT MAPPING GRAND UTOPIA

Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
Peu d'avancée cette semaine au niveau de Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel. Comme évoqué dans mon précédent rapport, je n'ai pas eu le temps de mapper samedi dernier car c'était mon anniversaire. J'ai donc décidé de plutôt avancé sur la rénovation des environs de Gavroche.

Rénovation de Gavroche
Les quelques heures de mapping de cette semaine ont donc été dédiées à la rénovation des environs de Gavroche. Bien avancée, cette rénovation est presque terminée à l'heure où j'écris ces lignes. J'ai fait mon possible pour rendre cette zone plus attractive à vos yeux donc j'espère que vous profiterez de la prochaine version pour passer plus souvent dans les environs de ce petit village.

[2] SONDAGE À PROPOS DU NOM DU TERRITOIRE BRITANNIQUE

Cette semaine, j'ai fait appel à votre participation via cet article dans lequel je vous demandais de soumettre vos idées de noms pour le future territoire britannique. Actuellement, pas moins d'une vingtaine de suggestions ont été formulées et je vous remercie grandement de votre participation !
Si vous souhaitez soumettre vos idées, il est encore temps de participer. Vous disposez jusqu'au vendredi 8 décembre à midi pour envoyer vos idées via le formulaire. En effet, l'ensemble des idées seront annoncés publiquement dans le prochain rapport et, suite à cela, nous procéderons à une série de vote pour élire le nom de territoire britannique.

[3] RÉDACTION D'UNE NOUVELLE FICHE POUR LE MANUEL

Enfin, j'ai pris le temps cette semaine de commencer la rédaction d'une nouvelle fiche pour mon manuel d'utilisation du SCS Map Editor. Suite à de nombreuses demandes, cette fiche concerne la création d'une entreprise personnalisée comme j'ai pu le faire de nombreuse fois sur Grand Utopia avec les VTC de joueurs. La version française a été entièrement rédigée et je vais procéder à la traduction en anglais courant semaine prochaine.
Toutefois, rédiger cette fiche a soulevé de nombreux autres points à évoquer dans le manuel donc, pour le moment, je déconseille de ce lancer là-dedans si vous débutez dans l'univers du mapping.
Pour rappel, le manuel est accessible gratuitement depuis le site internet de Grand Utopia (www.grandutopia.fr) via le bouton inséré tout à droite dans le barre de menu du haut.

[4] WEEKLY REPORTS FAN ARTS

Depuis maintenant 3 semaines, j'ai décidé d'utiliser une image différente pour chaque rapport. De plus, ces images sont stylisé afin de casser un peu la monotonie de mes rapports. Je ne sais pas si cela peut vous intéresser donc, dans le doute, vous trouverez désormais les images utilisées en pièce jointe des rapports afin que vous puissiez les téléchargez si vous le désirez. Aujourd'hui, je vous mets les trois derniers pour que vous n'en ratiez aucun !
