Hello dear Patrons,

It's Sunday and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] MAPPING FOLLOW-UP GRAND UTOPIA

Sulikôw
This village is 99% finished. There are still a few details to be reviewed but we can say that it is ready to receive you in the next GU beta version 🥳 which I will talk about a little later in this post. Discover in the gallery of the article, several global views of Sulikôw.

Improvements in Clerlande
I also spent some time in Clerlande again. While working on nearby Sulikôw, I noticed several things that bothered me, so I made several changes in this area to make the town more attractive and pleasant. Firstly, the stadium under construction was replaced by an apartment building. This changes everything and allows you to arrive in Clerlande with a better view 😅

Some small changes have also been made to the medians on the avenues with the introduction of a better grass texture. Also, some of the low-poly buildings directly facing the street have been replaced.

Finally, the motorway exit has been better detailed with the addition of road markings and a central reservation.

Reconstruction of A1/A2 interchange
Last but not least, I started the complete reconstruction of the A1/A2 interchange near Clerlande. This was my very first interchange ever built in the editor but, although I was very attached to it, it has aged very badly due to a distinct lack of quality. It made me a bit emotional to remove it all but it's for a good cause shall we say 🙃

So check out the first images of the brand new swap being created in the gallery. I chose to take a lot of inspiration from an interchange submitted in the #💭ideas-and-suggestions room of the Discord and which happens to be the Hisashimichi interchange in Hachioji (Japan) :

[2] GRAND UTOPIA V1.14.7 (BETA)

The village of Sulikôw being finished. I will be able to give you a new beta version of Grand Utopia. I am on holidays next week, the program is thus to finish the interchange and to publish the version 1.14.7 (beta) at the end of the week! You will find mainly new features in these areas:

Two news concerning the website this week. The first is that I have decided to put up the version compatibility list for each mod. The second one is that the million page view step has been passed 🥰

Nous sommes dimanche et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

Sulikôw
Ce village est terminé à 99 %. Il reste encore quelques détails à revoir mais on peut dire qu'il est fin prêt à vous recevoir dans la prochaine version beta de GU 🥳 dont je parlerai un peu plus loin dans ce post. Découvrez dans la galerie de l'article, plusieurs vues globales de Sulikôw.

Améliorations à Clerlande
Je me suis également attardé de nouveau à Clerlande. En travaillant sur Sulikôw situé non loin de là, j'ai remarqué plusieurs choses qui me dérangeait et j'ai donc réalisé plusieurs modifications dans ce secteur afin de rendre la ville plus jolie et plus agréable. Premièrement, le stade en construction a été remplacé par un résidence d'appartements. Cela change tout et permet d'arriver dans Clerlande avec une meilleure vue 😅

Quelques petits changements aussi au niveau des terre-pleins centraux sur les avenues avec la mise en place d'une meilleure texture d'herbe. Également, certains immeubles low-poly donnant directement sur rue ont été remplacés.

Enfin, la sortie d'autoroute a été mieux détaillée avec l'ajout d'un marquage au sol et d'un terre-plein central.

Reconstruction de l'échangeur A1/A2
Le dernier et pas des moindre, j'ai entamé la reconstruction complète de l'échangeur A1/A2 situé à proximité de Clerlande. Il s'agissait de mon tout premier échangeur jamais construit dans l'éditeur mais, bien que j'y étais très attaché, il a très mal vieilli à cause d'un manque de qualité flagrant. Cela m'a un peu ému de tout supprimer mais c'est pour la bonne cause dirons-nous 🙃

Retrouvez donc les premières images du tout nouvel échangeur en cours de création dans la galerie. J'ai choisi de m'inspirer fortement d'un échangeur soumis dans le salon #💭ideas-and-suggestions du Discord et qui se trouve être l'échangeur Hisashimichi à Hachioji (Japon) :

Le village de Sulikôw étant terminé. Je vais pouvoir vous donner une nouvelle version beta de Grand Utopia. Je suis en vacances la semaine prochaine, le programme est donc de finir l'échangeur et de publier la version 1.14.7 (beta) en fin de semaine ! Vous retrouverez donc principalement des nouveautés dans ces zones :

Deux nouvelles concernant le site internet cette semaine. La première est que j'ai décidé de mettre en place pour chaque mod la liste de compatibilité des versions. La deuxième est que le palier du million de pages vues a été dépassé 🥰
