Hello dear Patrons,

It's Sunday and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] MAPPING FOLLOW-UP GRAND UTOPIA

Sulikôw
This village is now 100% complete and a point of interest has been added in the area.

Interchange A1/A2
The bulk of this week's work was the total reconstruction of the A1/A2 interchange located near Clerlande in the centre of the island. Indeed, this interchange was my very first one and, in spite of a particular attachment to it, it did not correspond any more to the level of quality that I wish to offer you on Grand Utopia.

So I took advantage of my week off to work on this reconstruction. I didn't expect to spend so much time on this task: 4 full mapping days, from 9am to 6pm, a total of 32 hours. 😅 But that's because the interchange had to be rebuilt (and the model chosen was not the simplest) but also all the adjacent roads, which represented several kilometres of motorway.

The result is however very satisfying and I do not regret having undertaken this renovation (find more pictures in the gallery of this post):

[2] GRAND UTOPIA V1.14.7 (BETA)

The big event this week was the release of a new beta version of Grand Utopia. If you missed yesterday's notification about this, I invite you to visit our Download Centre to download v1.14.7 (beta). As a reminder, all Patreon members can access the beta versions of GU, regardless of their level of membership.

This version brings new features:
∟ the village of Sulikôw with the extension of the D6
∟ the village of Nouillorc with the renovation of part of the D2
∟ the reconstruction of the A1/A2 interchange
∟ the improvement of the town of Clerlande
∟ the rebuilding of the N4/D2 interchange (I don't remember exactly when I did it but I'll put it here just in case 😂)

[3] CHANGE OF DAY FOR THE WEEKLY REPORT

Another important piece of information that I would like to share with you is that I have given a lot of thought to this and have decided to write the next reports on another day than Sunday.

It turns out that writing and publishing these reports takes me a while (usually a full hour) and it's not practical for me on Sundays as that's the only day of the weekend my wife and I have in common.

In the next few days, I will submit a new poll to know your preferences. There are several options, I'll detail them in the survey post.

Nous sommes dimanche et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] POINT MAPPING GRAND UTOPIA

Ce village est à présent terminé à 100 % et un point d'intérêt a été ajouté dans le secteur.

Échangeur A1/A2
La gros du travail de cette semaine a été la reconstruction totale de l'échangeur A1/A2 situé près de Clerlande dans le centre de l'île. En effet, cet échangeur a été mon tout premier et, malgré un attachement particulier à celui-ci, il ne correspondait plus au niveau de qualité que je souhaite vous offrir sur Grand Utopia.

J'ai donc profité de ma semaine de congés pour m'occuper de cette reconstruction. Je ne pensais pas passer autant de temps sur cette tâche : 4 jours de mapping complet, de 9h à 18h soit un total de 32 heures. 😅 Mais c'est parce qu'il fallait refaire l'échangeur (et que le modèle choisi n'était pas le plus simple) mais aussi toutes les routes adjacentes, ce qui représentaient plusieurs kilomètres d'autoroute.

Le résultat est toutefois très satisfaisant et je ne regrette pas d'avoir entrepris cette rénovation (retrouvez plus d'images dans la galerie de ce post) :

[2] GRAND UTOPIA V1.14.7 (BETA)

Le grand évènement de cette semaine a été la publication d'une nouvelle version beta de Grand Utopia. Si vous avez manqué la notification d'hier à ce sujet, je vous invite à vous rendre sur notre Centre de Téléchargement pour télécharger la v1.14.7 (beta). Pour rappel, tous les membres du Patreon peuvent accéder aux versions beta de GU, peu importe leur niveau d'engagement.

Cette version apporte en nouveauté :
∟ le village de Sulikôw avec l'extension de la D6
∟ le village de Nouillorc avec la rénovation d'une partie de la D2
∟ la réfection de l'échangeur A1/A2
∟ l'amélioration de la ville de Clerlande
∟ la réfection de l'échangeur N4/D2 (je ne sais plus exactement quand je l'ai fait mais je le mets au cas où 😂)

[3] CHANGEMENT DE JOUR POUR LA RAPPORT HEBDOMADAIRE

Grande info que je souhaite également vous communiquer, j'ai beaucoup réfléchi et j'ai pris la décision de rédiger les prochains rapports un autre jour que le dimanche. 

Il s'avère que rédiger et publier ces rapports me prennent un certain temps (une grosse heure en général) et cela n'est pas pratique pour moi les dimanche car c'est le seul jour de weekend que ma femme et moi avons en commun.

Dans les prochains jours, je vais vous soumettre un nouveau sondage pour savoir vos préférences. Plusieurs options s'offrent à nous, je vous détaillerai tout ça dans le post du sondage.
