Hi everybody!  had a bussy month and dind't worked on all the thing I wanted for my mods but on the bright side got some extra cash and that is always good in the current situation.

REengine modding is coming along nicely, still working on my classic item pack for RE3R I really wanted to release it by now but it would be out on the next weeks most likely.
Already started working with animated models, like Nemesis case and thanks to the effort of alphaZomega the workflow is fast and easy thanks to his tools.
I want to start modding characters ASAP so I can bring my Classic Costumes Pack to the new games.

Talking about Classic Costume Pack, REDS costumes for remake are still coming thwy need some more work on the rigging.

Now on the Game Boy Mod: the new lighting was aplied on the lab so now all the rooms of the game have the correct lighting... exept in the second part of the massion that I missed and didn't realise until yesterday so those will be up in the next build.
Rebecca got her voxel model tho it need some enhancements her waist is kind small so sometimes it may look weird, I also aplied the voxel model of Chris and Jill (and also Rebecca) to theyr NPC versions.
There is also new texture for all the doors, stairs, ladders and elevators, so now the game have been gameboyified(?) from top to bottom (I think).
Next build priority are the cutscenes and the rest of voxel models for npc, then some ironing on the deatils and we are ready for the first plublic release.
Please remember turn off texture filtering on the Classic Rebirth options so the voxel models texture show correctly.

Whats new?

  • - New lighting on all the rooms of the laboratory. 
  • - Small fixes on icons for the weapons and items.
  • - Fixed the background from Richard's room, before you could see Richard drawn on the background when you returned to the mansion since his body disappears.
  • - New Rebecca player model made in voxel style based on the original game boy sprites
  • - Voxel style model for NPC Chris, Jill and Rebecca.
  • - Now all the doors, stairs, ladders and elevators have new pixelated textures.

As always you will need the Mediakite Release of Resident Evil for PC and the Classic REbirth patch for the Game Boy conversion mod to work.

Installation:

- Download the .7z file from the link I sent.

- Put the .7z file in the game folder next to the game executable and the Classic Rebirth patch.

- Make sure to back up your original MOVIE folder, then open the .7z file and extract only the MOVIE folder to the game folder. When its done close the .7z .

- Run the game and select the mod from the mod list like in the picture.

- I recommend playing the game using the retro mode of Classic REbirth for a fully pixelated experience and turn off texture filtering otherwise the voxel model texture looks bad.

If you have any doubt or find any bug post them in the comments so I can fix it for the next build.
