Ughhhh. So many things went wrong with this trip. For starters, my pilots on one flight were too late so I had to spend the night in Phoenix. When I finally got there, I had one good day, visiting and drinking and catching up with my aunt and her family. Had a special gummy bear. ;D But then halfway through day 2, I started to feel bad. Scratchy throat evolved to boogerfountain nose and aches, slight fever, fatigue - and to compound it all, the air up there in Boise, Idaho is reeeally dry so my nose got so raw it felt like it was on fire. My neck lymph nodes are swollen and pulsing with ache. I have not been this sick in years. D: I'm going to try to grind back into gear but it's going to be a slow start. I'm soooo sorry for this bullshit. I hate it too. Ugh. Hopefully it'll clear up quickly. (Oh and bonus sick stuff: On the flight back, my ears wouldn't clear properly because sinus pressure and I thought I was serious going to die or go deaf. Quite possibly the most excruciating thing I've ever felt. I think if I ever get this sick before flying again, I'm cancelling my flight. @___@)

Ugh. Sounds like you caught a bad case of the dreaded, "Con Crud".

As long as you don't bite, I think we'll all be okay.

Oh jeez, yeah. I don't think I've ever actually managed to get the crud around convention times, but it could definitely be a related bug. I think the flight and the change of elevation/atmosphere/schedule/diet just weakened my defenses too much to resist. D:

I'll try to resist the urge...though admittedly, I have been bizarrely ravenous in spats throughout this illness. O_____o
