Finally its done :) This was one big projct, thast for sure :)

Available to all "we are makers" tier members

Please allow me to let you walk you through it :)

1- there are now 6 helmet options, and 3 pair of wings options to choose from:

- clean helmet without wings as a standalone helmet

- damaged/textured helmet without wings as a standalone helmet

- clean helmet with 3x M3 screw cutouts on each side

- damaged/textured helmet with 3x M3 screw cutouts on each side

- fully combined clean helmet with wings

- damaged/textured combined helmet with wings

I thought the Helmet looked cool without the Wings as well, so now you can use that option only if you like.

2 - the wings were a bit tricky so i provided a suggestion on how to print the wings in form

of a little "pdf book". If you look at that, you'll notice that you can cut the wings so most of it can be printed without supports if you dont have a large volume printer.

The wings can be attaced with glue, m3 screws directly into the plastic or Heat inserts so you can have the wings removeable and easier for transport (link is in the folder as well)

3 - I also included a little "print suggestion" on the helmet - now please not the shape of the helmet is quite unique, there is no logical way to split it, so i also provided tutorial on plane cuts that you can use if you with to print it in smaller printers.

If you flip the helmet upside down, and split at the top of the dome , you will be able to print it without lots of supports as well. (use supports on the eyes only, and decide if you want to put them on the nose part as well).

4 - heat inserts and m3 bolt specification are included in the project folder

Happy printing :)

I run 2 cr10 v3s but have an ender 3 max neo on its way from black Friday sale. Decided I need more printers due to the desire to print everything you release lol. Just finished the daredevil cowl and straight onto the next model

how do you like the V3? I have the CR10s Pro V2 and its fantastic! I also will be needing a few more printers but will value your input. Might even grab the cr Max...

Can't fault them too much. Got them so I could print helmets in one go. Only shame is I realised too late that they advertise as cr-touch ready but they don't have a 32bit board as standard. Has not mattered too much manual leveling though

were you able to print the fett helmet in one go on the cr10s? mine is a pain, its not letting me use the full build plate. also how long did it take if you did print it? i'm going to give it a try in the next couple of days. will be my first large print but I need to get my slicer perfect.

Not tried the fett helmet but mando I did in 3 pieces due to size then pla welded together. The dream helmet I have done in a single main piece with the bone done separate. Sometimes separate pieces are better as you can use less supports
